NEW DEER CALVES AND FAWNS 🦌🦌🦌
With summer in full swing our herd of Red and Fallow deer are now showing off their offspring on our Deer Safari’s. We currently have 8 Red Deer calves and 9 Fallow Deer fawns. The calves are a bit braver and are soon seen out with their mums whereas the fawns are very timid and like to stay hidden until they are a few weeks old. As you can see from the pictures they are very cute and photogenic. Come along and meet them on our Deer Safari!
Deer Safari runs during school holidays and weekends at 12pm, 12:50pm, 2:10pm and 3pm. FIND OUT MORE: http://bit.ly/DeerSafari

UPDATE: PARK NOW OPEN! Thank you for your patience!
Park Closed due to Power Failure
Dear Adventurers,
... As of our checks first thing this morning, the park lost power overnight due to the storms.
We have been advised by the UK Power Network that our area is not likely to receive power again until an estimated time of 1230pm-1:30pm. However, this is not guaranteed. Engineers are fixing the issue as of last night.
For guests travelling to us today, we can only but apologise and guests who have pre-booked although it states online bookings are non-refundable we are happy to work with you to provide you with an alternative date.
When we have more information and are able to safely re-open the park when all systems come back on. We will post another update.

User

What a great attraction to have on our doorstep, we visit at least twice a month as my son absolutely loves it. Great indoor play area but in my opinion the outside play areas are much better.

Granted some parts aren’t open during the week and that may disappoint some but there is plenty to do without having your face painted or going on the deer safari.

A lot has been invested in the park and the new predator high ropes are amazing and great that it’s included in the entrance so no extra charge.

Plenty of space to bring your own picnic or enjoy an ice cream. My only suggestion would be a few more healthy options, the salads used to be great

User

What a fantastic day my family and I had today!!! We were there for 4.5 hours and the time flew by. Great activities and play areas and I am told by my 3 year old that the dinosaurs look real....which they do. Easy to find, great car parking, everything on site is easy to get to. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!

User

We visited the park at the beginning of March and had a great day. My little one loves dinosaurs and was always excited to see them pop up on every corner of the park.

After leaving the park we unfortunately found that our car wouldn’t start and we had to wait for a rescue vehicle. We spoke to the duty manager to ensure we didn’t get locked in the car park whilst we were waiting and not only did he promise there would be no issue but invited us to come back and sit in the warm even after the park had closed to the general public (and he was probably waiting to go home himself) The manager also offered my little one to have a private play in the soft play, as you can imagine this is the equivalent of an all inclusive holiday to Barbados for a two year old! Unfortunately we couldn’t take him up on the offer as the rescue vehicle turned up, but we very much appreciated the kind gesture.

User

We took our 3 1/2 year old son and 9months old daughter and he loved it, we thought it was great value for money, £3 for facepainting was great value usually pay a lot more! There were lots of outside parks and inside soft play was great.

The Dinasours are great and even made my son jump when they roared (he was scared but loved the whole day). The water park area looks great when we return we will bring his swimming shorts.

It was great going to all the different areas collecting the stamps he loves his medal.

Thank you for a lovely day.

User

We have had season tickets for 3 years, my children are now 9 and 12 and I wasn't sure if they would want to renew for another year but they both said they definitely do! We go all the time both during the summer and at the quieter times and have had some of the best times at the park with friends and family. The children can play outside, indoors or in the splash zone, there is enough to keep my 12 year old happy (still) and if all else fails he enjoys the Wi-Fi in Dino-Mite! The indoor area keeps the children happy for ages and the café coffee keeps me sane too. Food can be a little pricey but it is better quality than in many other places (and you can always bring a picnic!). We have not been there since the rebranding - wonder if much has changed?

User

One of the best days out you can have such good value for money and great for all ages! Bought our yearly pass today so looking forward to a whole year of fun and the new restaurant is fab and yay to all the veggie options in the park too also the Alice in wonderland displays were absolutely beautiful, very creative and added a very special touch for Easter

User

Love this place go every week as season pass holders never had a fault with the place always being updated and made better staff are always amazing thanks guys my 3 year old love this place and I think his little brother is happy with it in his weekly routine

User

I took my 5yr old grandson to the park today & we had a FANTASTIC time. So much to see & do. We completely filled our day. All the staff are very friendly & helpful; the food is very reasonably priced, especially for an attraction such as this. I would recommend the park for people of all ages as there is also a lot of information about all the creatures that are modelled. Thank you all for a truly wonderful day

User

I brought my 4 year old grandson this week and he loved everything about the place. It was a very hot day but there was plenty of shade in the trees and he loved the water/splash pad. Brilliant place, so much to do and see. Well worth a visit.

User

Absolutely love the dinosaur park! Been going back again and again for over a decade! There's something for children of all ages and a proper day out! The site feels safe and secure and the staff are amazing! Brilliant deal on season tickets too as you get discount at banham zoo! Highly recommend the dinosaur park to anyone!

User

A roarsome day out! Had a fab day with the family. Was plenty to do and the dinosaur trail was brilliant for the 2,5 and 7 year old. Loved the golf and the go kart too. Best was the splash park which the kids ran around in until they were shivering! To top it off you served gluten free fish and chips! Definitely worth the price some very tired kids by the end of the day

User

A fantastic place to visit for kids who love dinosaurs. We visited with our two boys of 4 and 18 months. They both enjoyed themselves immensely.

The range of activities on offer is unlike other attractions we've been to. The Raptor Racers were a big hit and the Dinosaur Trail was very good.

We travelled from Chesterfield especially to visit this park and don't regret it one bit!

User

We had a lovely day at roarr dinosaur adventure in may. It is worth the money a lot more now that you get the waterpark and predator high ropes etc all included in the price. We went on the high ropes on the first day it opened and it was roarrsome.

User

Had a lovely afternoon at the park, great for kids, looks like further improvements are in the pipeline, we enjoyed it a lot. One small criticism was that while there are lots of places to sit at picnic tables, most of them are in the full sun with no shade, near the wet zone were a few trees in the middle of the play are where picnic tables would be shady all day. It was a hot day, first of the year, and being a soft ginger man I needed more shade. Other than that, very nice, grandchildren loved it.

User

This is a great place to visit tho is EXTREMELY expensive. For an adult and two children entry was £40. This is quite a raise in entry price that has come with the new name.

With reference to changing names, we foster children and have regular changes in the children we have staying with us. I would love to be able to buy season tickets for all of us but am sad that I have been told that the names on these cannot be altered, even for a small admin fee apparently. It would be a fabulous place for us to be able to use along with many many other foster carers whom I KNOW would jump at the chance of buying season passes too. Sadly it makes the park pretty much inaccessible to us and the children we all care for. Such a shame.

User

Loved the place with lots to do for kids but one very big problem was that we missed over 2 hours of the day sitting in the restaurant we ordered drinks and meals for all of us 4 kids and 5 adults drinks took 20 minutes to come after 40 minutes we had to chase up are meals then it was another 30 minutes till we got the food then one of the meals brought to are table was wrong . If you go take a picnic or be prepared to wait 2 hours for food xx

User

Completely underwhelmed by our visit today. Thankfully we’re season ticket holders at Banham Zoo so didn’t have to pay full price. We’ve been visiting for many years but today just seemed disappointing. The food on offer in dinomite was overpriced for the quality and service provided. I know it’s a Sunday and it was wet but there didn’t seem to be enough staff to keep up with cleanliness and clearing tables.

The staff on the photo kiosk were less than impressive, i felt awkward that I hadn’t wanted to purchase a photo. Another additional cost on an already expensive day.

We braved the rain and did the stamp trail, thankfully finding some chirpy and engaging staff at the dinosaur encounter. Top marks for interaction and getting the children involved.

We received written information on the way out about new ZSEA season pass holders now having to bring additional ID for entry apparently due to GDPR and you not being able to access others data bases. I get the reasoning but not sure I want to bring photo ID with me next time for a family of 4.

Not in a hurry to come back

User

Took my 4 nephews and nieces half term. Ages 8-11 and 3 adults £90 to get in! , no family discounts available. I ask girl on kiosk why kids more expensive than adults...coz there is more for them to do! Did we and kids think it was worth it...No. Eldest one was bored said it was more for younger kids, dinosaurs all looking dated. 8yr old twins thought climbing stuff was better than the dinosaurs.....it's a dinosaur park! Would we go again..resounding No. Suggestion; Adults should get in for £5 and offer family discounts?? Sorry if we sound grumpy but we were very disappointed

User

myself and a friend visited your park today (08/03) with our two 3 year olds upon arrival just after we had purchased our tickets at just over £26 each we were told the neaderthal walk was closed for maintanace and so we would not be able to collect the stamp. What we were not told is that infact the whole bottem half of the park was closed we reached the end of the dino trek to find the whole area closed off including the deer safari the farm area and the goat and donkey area. Now i understand that in bad weather the animals may not be out be surely we should have been informed of this before we spent a fortune on tickets. we headed back up to dino trek and decided to venture into the indoor play area which after 10mins filled up with around 40 school children who pushed and shooved anyone in there way who also filled the under 5s area where those with younger children had tried to take shelter from the mass of rowdy children. Again i believe this is something we should have been warned about before visiting the park. We both felt that we were overcharged considering how much of the park was closed. there was no mention on your website of the extent of the work being done the only thing mention on site was the neaderthal walk being closed.
