Hi All, we have recently opened the waiting list for Rosemere which has been closed for the past 3 years. We are getting several enquiries daily, the first question is always 'how long is the waiting list?' so i just wanted to make it clear that the waiting list is now public for everyone to see on this page under the About section. No queue jumping, no special treatment because you're a fieldtester for a bait company ect, just a straight honest list. We only update the waiting list biweekly so when viewed it may not be 100% accurate but not far out.

When you look to your right and see 2 mid 30s waddle by, then you look to your left and see a mid 40 ( 2 scales) basking in the sun without a care in the world, it can only mean one thing at Rosemere....... closed season 🤦‍♂️.

Rosemere's stock of large carp comprises of 32 fish now over 30lbs of which 19 are 35+ including 8-11 fish over the magical 40lb barrier upto the lake record of 59.04... here's a few random shots of some of this 5 acre lakes residents 😊

When i stocked Rosemere i had the idea that i wanted a low percentage of the stock to be commons, (around 10-15 percent) the theory behind this is that if you have a lake full of them as with heavily scaled mirrors, they become the norm and somehow it takes something away for me, they seem less special... anyway here's a snippet of Rosemere's hand selected commons..... 😍

The most rewarding thing from a fishery managers perspective is watching all your hard work pay off.
Stocked as a C2 at 2lbs 8oz and i would expect this one to go over the 30lb mark for the first time if caught in the spring. 😊
