HI everyone, It is with great regret to inform you that we are closing. With the support and reassurance of the Landlord for Rosies to continue as a Tearoom we had just found a fabulous buyer.Unfortunately now.. the Landlord has changed his mind and we are unable to sell Rosies. He is leasing the whole building out for it to become another restaurant (they couldn't say what type..only it will be open evenings) sometime next year. We are so upset with this change of circumstan...ce and would like to apologise to all our customers for it....and we also want to say a HUGE HEARTFELT THANK YOU to all our wonderful, fabulous customers, you have all been THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!
We will close on Sunday 23rd December.
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd will be 'open house' everything from tables to our cow milk jugs will be available to buy.
Any outstanding vouchers..please contact us for a full refund.
THANK YOU X

Really lovely little tea room with fabulously quirky vintage deco!! The staff are genuinely friendly people and happy to have a chat and a giggle. I ordered a ham and chutney sandwich which was a proper chunky style sarni!! With a side salad and a pot of crisps. I look forward to coming back : )

OMG.If you want the best afternoon tea ever then Rosie's Tea Room is the place to be.I have been today for the first time and will definately be going back.Took the inlaws with us and they said it was better than The Old Parsonage and The Randolph.I asked for an extra scone as they were that good.It came to me piping hot and freshly made.WOW.It was beautiful.Took the cakes home as I didn't have any room left. There was a large choice of teas and other options. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you.The music was pretty good too. When I booked the owner said she makes the best scones in Abingdon. After today her boast is very very true.Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.xx

My daughter and I had lovely hot chocolate, tea and cake here on Saturday. There were good quality and delicious home baked goods, a whole side of a menu dedicated to different selection of teas and very decent prices! The lovely new owners chatted to us like old friends and even gave my daughter a cute gingerbread unicorn much to her delight! Will definitely be back for the amazing looking high tea. Great atmosphere, cute decor and very child (& breastfeeding) friendly. Great little find.

Iā€™ve walked past many times but itā€™s never been the right time to pop in but today was a lazy day, and I had a big appetite!

Afternoon Tea at Rosieā€™s is great value and quality and the welcome from the staff warm.

Sandwiches are tasty with lovely fresh bread. The scones are big and served with lovely cream and jam. Cakes were delicious and moist.

We stayed longer than expected and enjoyed it from start to finish.

Thanks for a lovely afternoon

Itā€™s a lovely place, beautifully decorated and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The afternoon tea was delicious (finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of cakes). Everything is home made and delicious and presented so nicely! Theyā€™ll even sort you a doggie bag when you run out of space from the generous portions. Also, itā€™s very affordable for the amount we ordered! All around great place, no complaints whatsoever. Keep an ear out for the cow mooing on the hour! Good things to know: dog friendly, child friendly and they have a place to put away a wheelchair if you have the option of getting out of it.

User

I had my babyshower at Rosieā€™s Tearoom yesterday and had an amazing time. The family who runs it couldnā€™t do enough for us. It was homely, cosy, quirky and friendly. And on top of the most amazing spread, their scones were hands down my favourite ever!

Will definitely be back in future ā€“ canā€™t recommend them enough. Thanks again for your part in this special event :) x

Best Cafe in the whole of Oxfordshire. Super friendly staff, fantastic loose teas and cafetieres of beautiful coffee, home baked cakes and the most fantabulous scones you've ever tasted (in different varieties). Weekend breakfast is on our list regularly. They really go out of their way to satisfy their customers. The music and pudding evenings are also wonderful events not to be missed. Love, love, love it. Real value for affordable prices. Keep going, guys - you rock!

User

A fantastic cup of tea, (soooo many choices of tea!) a beautifully light and delicious slice of gluten free carrot cake. Cosy sofa area that was perfect for sitting and doing some crochet. Thank you for a delightful visit :)

User

I brought my Nan here today. No disabled access, but we were helped in to the Tea Room, and the wheelchair was looked after for us. Again, access to the toilet was up 2 small steps, and through a long kitchen, so quite a walk for an elderly person. She was however prompted at the steps by the staff.

The young girls were fantastic servers, especially a girl called Milly, or Mollie? She was very polite, accommodating, and kind! I hope that she is very well appreciated by you guys, as she is a credit to the business.
