About Rosslyn Glamping
A small woodland glamping site in North Norfolk with three shepherd's huts at present and another two under construction. The swimming pool is completed though there is still landscaping to be done.
Rosslyn Glamping Description
We have lived at Rosslyn with our three sons and various pets, since 2005. When we bought Rosslyn it was a fairly run down bungalow which Andrew has transformed into a beautiful house. Andrew has done most of the work himself and last autumn he felt he needed a break from the renovations so he decided to create a shepherd's hut. We have about 6 acres of woodland with our house and thought that it would be a good idea to have a couple of glamping units.

The Chere Amie has moved to its final position in the woods; Gill, Claire, Megan, Ryan and Sylvia helped with this important decision. Andrew, Jacob and Billy are now creating a pontoon around the boat.

I went for lunch to Heydon Village Tea Shop today. Wow what a find, lovely food and very accommodating, friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
Look what a beautiful place we live in.
We have been closed for the last two weeks for a private event. Oh my goodness the weather couldn't have been better and we have had such fun, met so many lovely people and really enjoyed ourselves.The swimming pool has been well used. Back to the normality of getting huts ready next week but looking forward to welcoming all the people booked in.

The wedding day has arrived. I am sure that Andrew will have some much better photos later but the woods look so pretty with bunting, lights and pretty medieval tents around. Looking forward to some dancing later.
Ross is the lovely, talented lady who painted our toilet block with all the wonderful creatures. She held her handfasting and wedding party in our woods, a wonderful event it was too.
Sitting by the pool with a gin and tonic and a book while Andrew burns some calories.
A gentle swim in the evening sunshine was just what I needed after a busy weekend
Andrew has rescued a sucked baby rabbit from Michael the cat this morning. The woods are bursting with life at the moment, the trees are that lovely soft green of new leaves and birds are singing. We have a pair of blue tits and a pair of great tits nesting in little holes in the walls of our house. The Jackdaws have nearly finished bringing up their families in two of our chimneys. I think this is my favourite time of year.
I just went out to put flowers in Jacob's Folly and startled a deer. I couldn't see what kind just saw a little white tail bobbing away. The bluebells are starting to come out now, will be a beautiful show soon.
Laptop has been rushed to A&E so please forgive me if I am slow to respond. Hoping it makes a speedy recovery!

It has been busy busy busy at Rosslyn while I have been at work. The swimming pool is coming along nicely and Tom and Jerry (honestly) have been working hard tidying the trees.
The woods and huts looked wonderful in the snow this morning.
While Andrew and I were away in sunnier climes the other week 20 tons of rubble arrived for more driveways through the woods. Thanks to Becky, Stuart, Sadie and Jacob for spreading it all out.
we have just come back from a lovely weekend at Rosslyn Glamping..Claire and Andrew are so welcoming ..a simple peaceful site with a totally relaxed vibe..the amenities are really finished to a high standard ..the loos and the showers are clean and are amazing ....Will definitely be planning more visits ...thank you for a great weekend �
Would just like to say a very big thank you just had lovely couple of days stay . The shepherds hut was amazing the boy's loved their stay and we were all made to feel very welcome can't wait to visit again in the future 😊
What a place. We loved every moment. The hut was perfect. So comfortable and cosy. The woods they are in are beautiful too.Can't wait to go back.
We just come back from here and it's the most peace fantastic place just to get away from the rat race and shepherds are amazing located in 7 acres of woodland, we be going back
We had a great mini family holiday thanks. A perfect spot for a wonderful shepherds hut. It felt a privilege to stay and bring our 15week old son on his first holiday and woodland adventure here. Thank you for being so organised, welcoming and letting us share in you little piece of paradise. We'd recommend it and good luck!
Just returned from a brilliant few days at this amazing place. Our shepherds hut was perfect, really well equipped with every detail thought out. Andrew and Claire were great hosts, letting the kids meet Scooby the parrot, Ronnie the dog and visit the budgies and their babies. Highly recommended!!
A superb stay in a beautiful woodland location. The shepherd hut was very well equipped with all your needs. Washing and toilet facilities were exceptionally clean. We will definitely be returning for another visit. 5star and more.
