Royal Corinthian Yacht Club Description
Welcome to the facebook page of the RCYC Burnham. Founded in 1872 on the Thames at Erith, the Club moved to Burnham on Crouch in 1892 and opened its award winning Clubhouse in 1931.
With some of the best one design racing for Dragons, Squibs, 707s, the classic Royal Corinthian One Design, and an active cruiser fleet and dinghy fleet, the club is ideal for both the experienced and novice sailor. For youth sailors, The Corinthian Otters, founded in 1930, offers enjoyment and expertise on the water for 6 - 18 year olds, developing sailing, racing and communication skills.

Last night saw the Members Winter Ball at the club. Beautiful table displays created by Rowena, Suzanne and their team made the setting extra special and Simon - our chef - created as always an extremely tasty menu. Rump of Lamb Roasted pink with Dijon mustard & pesto crumb on potato gratin, green vegetables & port jus Or Winter Wellington (v) Cranberry, walnut, spinach & goats cheese in puff pastry. Cocktails made & served by the front of house staff went down very well!
The office staff have been given the job of chief tasters for the Winter Ball cocktails - cheers!🍹🍸
Race 9&10 had to be postponed until 15th December- that's this Saturday! Briefing is at the usual time 9.40am in the club. Please register with the office by emailing info@royalcorinthian.co.uk or calling 01621 782105. The snow globe will be presented after racing as soon as results are available.
fabulous setting, very nice efficient staff,very welcoming setting, perfect food, made my sister's wedding reception a truly memorable day, would definitely recommend the venue to anyone.
We were lucky enough to hold our wedding reception at the corinthian 13 years ago (17th July 2004) even now we get comments from people to say how amazing the setting was and how fantastic the day was. We have lots of lovely lovely memories of the day xxx
The Most Perfect Day!! We held our wedding here 22nd april 17, our guests were bowled over with how beautiful the club is & the amazing views on the balcony. Food was exceptional on the day & for breakfast the morning after, staff are so very helpful! Kate is just the perfect organiser, it all ran seamlessly which put us at ease & we could really enjoy our day. Tony & Jodie also couldn't have done enough on the 'late shift' Thank you so very much to everyone involved! xxx
Thank you so much for hosting our Mum's birthday party last Sunday. The staff service and food was superb, nothing was too much trouble. All our guests commented how beautiful the venue was with the stunning panoramic views and beautifully set out room. Highly recommend!
Stunning views, great food and service - the only hiccup was absence of airconditioning (or proper ventilation) on one of the hottest days of the year!
One of the friendliest clubs I've ever been too. I could not recommend it highly enough!
