Royal Voluntary Service Description
We support older people by giving time and practical help to help them get the best from life. Our volunteers, some 40, 000 ordinary men and women of all ages and ethnicities, love spending time with older people. Through them we want to create a society where everyone feels valued and involved whatever their age.
We help to change lives - you can too with one of Britain's largest volunteering organisations. If you are over 14 and have a few hours to spare a week, you too can become a Royal Voluntary Service volunteer and help make a difference to the lives of other people, particularly older people, in Norfolk.
Meet new friends, build your confidence, learn new skills, take part in something inspirational or just enjoy yourself - who knows where it could take you. Whatever your interests, whatever your ability, we have something to suit you.

As part of our First Time for Everything project we shall be hosting two free Pitch & Putt events over the next couple of months. We are looking for volunteers of any age that would be happy to lead a group (of around 4) round the course and to offer some basic technical advice (stance, how to hold the club etc...). You do not need to be an expert, supportiveness and a friendly nature are the main requirements. If you would like to help but Pitch & Putt really isn’t your thi...ng, we are also looking for assistance with the 19th hole picnic.

If you’d like to take advantage of this free round of Pitch & Putt, places are open to anyone aged 55+. We will be hosting one event at Eaton Park and the other at Mousehold Heath.
