We have had such a busy week here at the centre making sure our animals stay nice and cool,as well as putting together the lots for our next auction, which is almost ready for its big reveal !!! We have also received these amazing toys from Amanda Jane Smith and her mum Diane Smith, Thank you both so much for this amazing donation.

Peter's final week before retirement is proving to be very exciting! This morning lovely FRANKS ICES - Huntingdonshire called in to surprise Peter with ice creams - and very delicious they were too! While he was here we also received a cash donation which was very generous. Thank you for your ongoing support Franks ❤️🍦

We would like to say a massive thank you to the Chief Constable at Cambridgeshire Constabulary for very kindly donating these super comfy blankets to the dogs here at our centre from Peterborough Custody!
We are always needing comfy blankets for our dogs to sleep on and Barry would like to confirm that these are perfect so thank you!!

Yesterday we had the 3rd Wisbech Brownie group come to visit our centre with lots of lovely donations for our animals!
They enjoyed an informative talk about our centre and a guide tour of our facilities.

It may be damp and drizzly outside but we won't let the rain spoil our announcement. Despite the weather people still ventured out to support us on Gala day and we raised just over £2,000 which was amazing!!! There were plenty of owners with their dogs and lots of smiley faces.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended, as well as the volunteers, who ran stalls on our behalf.
We would also like to thank everyone who sponsored and donated items for... our cause, without all of you our day would not have been as successful as it was.

Annabella pictured below won the prize for guessing the weight of the turkey, she guessed him at 18.7KG which was the closest to his actual 18.9KG.
Also pictured below is Anna Brown with her dog Pippa who won the best in show.

Our kennel staff had an amazing surprise today! Demi who we rehomed last year came to visit!
Demi arrived in our care with very sore skin, baldness pretty much all over and with a continual ear problem. The first photo is a before (see how bald her ears are??) and the others are photos taken today. You wouldn’t believe she’s the same dog.
Her owners have done a spectacular job with her and it’s excellent news to hear that her ears are all better and she now needs brushing instead of medicated baths! 😍
