Reflexology is a holistic treatment based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet and hands that map via the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body.
Ruth Pates Reflexology Description
I am a qualified Reflexologist, Indian Head Massage and Baby Reflex practitioner based in a pretty North Essex village. I am primarily mobile and will travel within a 20 mile radius therefore letting you really relax in your own surroundings and not have to go anywhere after having a wonderfully blissful treatment. I can also do it from my own home if you would prefer. I love making people feel good and often deal with a lot of clients suffering with stress issues.
Reflexology is brilliant if you are feeling a little out of sorts or stressed as it helps to create a sense of balance as well as encouraging the body to heal any current disorders.

It's easy to forget quite how lucky some of us are. I gave a talk this morning with some tips on how to give hand reflexology to a group of carers. Some care for relatives with dementia, some are volunteers and some care for relatives with a whole host of illnesses/disabilities. Not sure why I was so nervous about doing it as they were such a lovely group in need of a bit of respite. I shall try and be more grateful for what I have. Also been booked to do more talks! Coming from someone who suffers dreadfully with anxiety and nerves this will certainly help me get over my fears!
