We stopped by for breakfast on way back from Yarmouth, food was good, as was the previous weeks, but the lad Vincent who brought the food out was amazingly good and so attentive, better than most in expensive restaurants to be fair. I just hope he's not a new starter that will be ground down by working in retail. Vincent your a top top lad, thank you for making a good breakfast awesome.

Love eating at Sainsburys, food good, staff very helpful and friendly. What has happened to the Mince Beef Hotpot you used to serve, it was really nice, I was hoping it would be included in this winters menu. Now the last straw you have stopped serving the bacon and sausage baps why ? Now there is a baguette which is too much for me or a small sandwich. So I had eggs and bacon, very nice but not as good as a good old bacon butty

We were on our way back to Kent and needed a coffee break. So we stopped at Sainsbury's. The cafe was clean and tidy, but the staff are so slow. My wife waited nearly 10 minutes to get two coffees after placing her order. There was a wait of over 20 minutes for any cooked food. This is not cafe times.

Last Sunday I got charged 2x£20 for £20 of Diesel. I've been in to customer services with my bank statement and they've been dragging their heels. Still no £20 credit after 2 trips to customer services. A simple solution would be to return my £20 as I'm sure they're not short of money........ not happy and hope this post triggers consumers to think twice before using Thetford Sainsbury's filling station, this will be getting shared throughout Facebook.

I visited your branch in thetford, on Saturday ... and the toilets there were disgusting... the women's were out of order so there was a note saying to use the disabled ones it stunk of wee... and there was mould inbetween the tiles around the sink and hand dryer... to think a person in a wheel chair would have this in their faces whilst washing their hands... (my partner used the male toilets and said his experience was exactly the same with smell etc)

It then didn't make me want to look around the store and shop in the branch... I use your branches at kings Lynn and longwater Norwich regularly and their standards are a lot higher than those of the thetford branch.. it lets the Sainsbury's stores down...

Good evening,

I'm writing to you on behalf of my brother who does not speak or understand enough to complain about what happened today at the Sainsbury's gas station in Thetford, so let's start talking about the first contact between my brother and Cherri:

My brother came in to ask her (in her own way) about the car wash service and what was the difference between the 3-pound wash and the 5-pound wash.

For what my brother said she was very insensitive on his answer and with a very poor attitude, and said to him that the difference was in the quality of the service but all information was written on a placard at entry of the machine.

Everyone have their bad days so my brother just let it go and went for the car wash machine, service that he paid for to wash his car but it went wrong in every single way possible.

The car left the machine unwashed, all scratched, with the antenna broken and the plastic on the front, left side, loose.

He parked at front of Gas Station to see the damages on the car and nervous about that situation and without knowing how to explain all the situation for the woman behind the counter he decided to pick me up at home to go to the local with him.

While we were arriving I noticed two women behind the counter looking to the car and for me and the both started a change of words about the subject and then I thought: Ok this ladies know why I'm here, so they will help me solve it.

But I was so wrong in thinking that would be easy solve the situation…

One of the ladies, very friendly and polite, told me to wait and talk to Cherri, and then I did. I waited while Cherri was serving the clients in front of me, and once she finished one of the first things she told me was: There's not much that I can do and I'm not being paid to solve such problems. At that moment I understood what kind of atitude my brother was talking about before I went in.

She also said that Sainsbury's don't take responsibility for the damage done by the car wash machine, and my brother shouldn't leave the place in the first place.

And I kind of understand what she was saying about my brother leave the site before make the complain but how should he complain in the first place if she didn't even had a good posture trying to understand him with such as simple questions about the service.

What I did not understand was the rude way of her talking to a customer who had the total right to be upset, and even then I was being polite and calm.

I even phone to the police to know how should I proceed in that kind of situation.

Meanwhile, I was on the street talking to a police officer, and I was approached by an employee of Sainsbury's interest in knowing what happened to the car, went with us to see the damage, apologized multiple times for what happened, gave us the number Of customer service and got ready to return the money paid for the car wash, which was the only thing he could do for us at that time. I thanked him and took the opportunity to tell him that his colleague, Cherri, should have done the same thing and showed some interest in resolving the situation and was then when he confessed that was her who called to him saying that we were being agressive and she was afraid.

It was at that moment that I felt offended and I realized that Cherri was being prejudiced with us and I will explain why:

I've never had an aggressive attitude toward her.

I've never made any kind of threat.

I have never used inappropriate or offensive vocabulary,

I never lost my temper even when she was using sarcasm while talking to me.

Despite being upset about the situation, I was calm, polite and looking for a solution and a good will from Sainsbury employees.

So the only reason that made her afraid of us was her own prejudice against us for being Portuguese.

Luckily, the employee she called was professional and understanding, I appreciated his help and his words at that moment.

However, the problem is not solved and the damage to the car is quite visible, so I hope Sainsbury will do what is right and take responsibility for the situation and take action to repair it.

Note: Attach photographs of the car and the receipts of the car wash and the return of the 3 pounds.

I apologize for any spelling errors and I hope you understand the full content and intent of this letter, please do not hesitate to contact us if any further information is needed.
