This place is a gem! Surprised, because from the outside you would have thought that it is a generic diner. Once inside however, the service is brilliant, the food is great and the ambience lovely! I would highly recommend Salsa Tapas & Grill to locals and visitors to Southend! Lovely. Absolutely lovely! ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

The Salsa Tapas & Grill is a great place to eat with a fantastic menu everything is cooked fresh which shows with the presentation and taste of the food being excellent. It is a place which is family friendly with the best staff in Southend. There is not a high turn over of staff they all seem to be happy there, which gives a good atmosphere.

Perfect service amazing food ☺️ Staff could not do enough for you x would highly recommend

My favourite restaurant in Southend (excluding my own of course- haha) I always enjoy my food here, it's extremely tasty- whichever dish I have had (I've tried many) nice wine too! I would say the only thing that needs improving is the cosmopolitan cocktail. Great place to choose if you're looking for tasty food- oh they also have live music some nights too! ÔøΩ

Lovely fresh food, good service from a family run restaurant, they also prepare wonderful cocktails and their specials and special menus are great value for money.

Last night we had a bad experience in another restaurant and had to leave. We got to Salsa at 9pm still hungry and upset from our experience and Salsa did not turn us away! They helped us celebrate my sisters 30th birthday meal and fit us in last minute. The staff were amazing, helpful and really friendly ensuring we were having a great time! Not only that, the sangria is the best in town by far!! Thank you so much everyone we really appreciate it & we promise we won’t go anywhere other than our favourite restaurant from now on! Lol �

Last night was my 4th visit to Salsa, great food and a great atmosphere as always! Even catering for my dietary requirements. Well done to the staff for putting up with 36 of us.

Just eaten here for the first time on the recommendation from local family and the food was absolutely amazing. I have never enjoyed a meal so much and the staff were also very polite and helpful. We will definitely be coming back here when we come back to visit ÔøΩ thankyou

Had a works Christmas meal here last night. It was fantastic!!! My first time here and I will tell everyone how great you are. Lovely bar staff, lovely table staff. The food was amazing - I had a 3 course meal, lamb shanks were to die for!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You made a good night become a great night.

Had a lovely meal here with some friends, really delicious meal and the desserts were to die for. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a young guy singing who was brilliant. Will definitely go back and definitely recommend.

me Chrissy and sue went there yesterday for our Christmas meal then staff made us very welcome the foo was lovely would recommend people to go there

Me and my partner came in for cocktails on the 23rd of dec we waited ten mins to be served no one else was at the bar in the end i had to ask the barman to serve us we had 2 pina coladas all we could taste was the pineapple. Someone came up to the bar and asked 4 a cider and the barman said we have bud or stella so he obviously did not know what he was doing. I have sent the manager a message and rung him and no reply very disappointed.....
