SALUBRIOUS LIVING is true to its meaning. . . Salutary, balanced, healing, nourishing, beneficial, healthy, invigorating, nutritious, wholesome, healthful and holistic.

OUR AIM
We aim to provide services that will support you in obtaining and sustaining these health benefits within your lifestyle, whether that be to maintain general well being or a life changing experience like pain relief from chronic muscular problem or injury, weight loss or greatly increased fitness levels.

SPORTS MASSAGE
We predominantly provide sports massage therapy using deep tissue techniques, stretches and trigger point therapy to treat not only existing injuries and for injury prevention but to also to treat chronic pain sometimes without a known cause. We work on trying to get to the root of ongoing pain or discomfort which can cause great misery that many of us tend to just put up with or in a sense learn to live with as we may feel we have exhausted all treatment avenues without success and not know which way to turn.

We work in a holistic way viewing both the physical body and the emotional state of mind as one. So many symptoms of chronic pain can be associated to ones general well being, for this reason as well as treating the symptoms it is usually beneficial to look at other aspects in your life that may be affecting your well being such as your physical activity and diet.

NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE
In addition to massage SALUBRIOUS LIVING also has a WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PRACTITIONER who can offer nutritional guidance which will have a great bearing on your weight management and overall health. Each one of us has different dietary requirements depending on our age, daily activity, work patterns etc. but it can be a minefield of conflicting information out there to sift through trying to work out what we 'should or shouldn't' eat, what is the 'correct portion size' and what is considered ethical produce these days. At SALUBRIOUS LIVING we are here to discuss what you personally struggle with and give you the correct up to date information to put you on the right track to a lifetime of healthy eating not some faddy diet that will be difficult to sustain in the long run. Your diet choice such as vegetarian, vegan etc. is also fully respected so you need not worry you will be given a meal plan devised around meat etc. all food choices are catered for.

FITNESS TRAINING
Of course no dietary plan alone is enough to keep us in shape! As we get older our metabolism does change as does the need for physical exercise to stay healthy and mobile. Anyone who thinks they will be able to just "wing it" and stay looking and feeling good without some degree of effort is very much mistaken. SALUBRIOUS LIVING can provide a fitness program that suits you whether that be some light exercise for those who are starting from scratch, have difficulties or are in your older years OR those of you who want to up your game and get serious about your fitness, maybe you want to train for a sporting event. . .
