The Charity for Bereaved Forces Children
Scotty'S Little Soldiers Description
ScottyŌĆÖs Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved British Forces children.
Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott, the charity honours husband Corporal Lee ScottŌĆÖs memory - both as a loyal soldier and a loving father - and provides a practical yet personal way for the public at large to show their appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.
Nikki and Lee have 2 children, Kai and Brooke, so Nikki saw first hand the effect the loss of a loved one in these circumstances can have on a child. It was on a family holiday some 9 months later that Nikki saw her son Kai, 5 at the time, laugh and smile for the first time since his DadŌĆÖs death. She realised that there must be so many more children who had also lost a parent in the British Armed Forces but hadnŌĆÖt had that opportunity to smile again.
She decided to set up the charity ScottyŌĆÖs Little Soldiers to do just that, to help their children smile.
The charity provides opportunities for the children to smile again by offering holidayŌĆÖs at itŌĆÖs Scotty Lodges, gifts at difficult times of the year, special experiences and an amazing Christmas party.
As well as these fun activities the charity also provides access to professional bereavement counselling and a range of grants to help with the childrenŌĆÖs personal development. These grants can cover the cost of music lessons, swimming clubs, after school activities, driving lessons and even University tuition fees.
The charity now supports hundreds of bereaved British ForcesŌĆÖ children across the UK, many of whom are still very young and will rely on the activities offered by ScottyŌĆÖs for years to come.

Christmas with a missing parent is always tough for a child so we'd like to thank you all for helping us to remind all our bereaved British Forces families that we never forget their sacrifice.

Learnt about this charity through school assembly. Our school House Endeavour have chosen it as their Charity to fundraiser for this year.
Just bought the new honour hoodie in maroon. IŌĆÖm extremely impressed with the delivery, came next day! The overall quality of the hoodie is amazing, better than most of my branded hoodies, and the colour is exactly how displayed on the picture. Best of all, it goes to an amazing cause and as my stepdad served with Scotty, this charity is very close to my heart.

I think what you do is pretty amazing, we are ex military, hubby was grenadier guards, and the Army wives were a close knit family, everyone helped each other out, but what you all do is something else,bravo to each and everyone of you Xxxx

I Love This Charity Been Following Ever Since i First Herd of it I am a Army Child My Dad Served 22 Years and i Know of Families Who Have Lost a Loved One My Friend's Little Girl Never Actually got to Meet Her Daddy and Scotty's Little Soldiers Helps i often Hear here on Facebook of Trips Gifts and Love to See The Pics of This Lovely Little Girl Meeting and Playing With Other Children The Same as Her Having Fun My Dad is One of The Chelsea Pensioners If Me and My Dad Stephen Allen Can Ever Help Then im Sure He be Willing.
