Sarah Peart is a graduate of NULC, leaving with a triple Distinction in an Extended Diploma in photography in 2016. She has been based at One One Six for almost a year, starting with work experience for a while, thus the inspiration to become self-employed. Sarah has already been involved in a considerable amount of projects and exhibitions. She has contributed and worked with one one six owner Darren Washington, on exhibitions, the most successful being as Dark Thoughts Through a Sunny Window, she has also had a solo mini-exhibition in Terry’s Cafe, Grey Porcelain, which was displayed through One One Six.
A project on which Sarah developed her skills dramatically, was a photography and documentary project called Feeling Inspired; this was something that was commissioned by the Live Age festival 2016. Sarah took lead on the photography side of things and took a portrait of each artists that were interviewed. Those photographs have gone on to be sold to the artists themselves and their families. Sarah will continue to be based as One One Six and work alongside Darren on commissions (and vice versa), as an individually self-employed photographer. She plans to continue expanding her skill set in photography and has great plans for the future.
