We offer many services from our Kings Lynn Store, not just sales of new machines across the UK, but we sell used machines, offer sewing machine repair, tuition and workshops in our new classroom.
Our friendly staff have the knowledge to help you find the perfect machine, or trouble shooting when problems occur.
We have engineers on site and experienced product specialists on hand to guide you from the first enquiry, through to a hassle free after service.
We hold tuition on all new machines in store.
We love what we do and it shows!

Staff required! We are looking for an honest, reliable and personable individual for our King's Lynn showroom. 3 days per week including Saturdays and extra days as required for holiday cover. The job involves serving customers in person and over the phone, demonstrating and selling our large range of sewing machines as well as processing online orders, also general shop duties. Some lifting of sewing machines required up to a maximum of 20kg. Would suit a cheerful friendl...y individual who can demonstrate excellent customer care skills and who can fit in with our current team. Full product training will be given although the applicant must have some previous knowledge of sewing machines and be computer literate. Competitive rate of pay and staff discount scheme. Well what a turn up for the books. My wife has a Janome TXL 607 sewing machine which has been a faithful little servant for two and a half years. One day it stopped sewing and a comment came on the screen Lo which meant nothing to us. So into our local Janome dealer in Colchester and 2 weeks later were told the motor had gone it was very worn and even when the motor was changed it might not work! But an offer was made to part exchange for another machine. What should we do??? I know said I, Steve at Sewing Machine World might look at it. So a long journey to King Lynn, it was looked at there and then. The motors spinning but it sound like the belt has come off. So we left it and waited but not for long. "Your machine is ready for collection" "It is? Does it work we asked." "yes its fine now." "So what was wrong we asked." Thread has jammed round the top spindle and the drive belt had come off, so we cleaned it serviced it and its all ready for collection." So we collected it paid and rushed home and yes it does work well and so quietly. If I had listened at that fellow who wanted to sell me a new machine I would have paid a lot of money. As it is we have or trusted friend back and it works well we paid a reasonable fee for its service. but are we glad we went to Sewing Machine World their professionalism is second to none. Guess where we will go if we do decide to get a new machine, its all about trust. Thanks SEWING MACHINE WORLD!

Well today i did a 11hrs round trip to this shop to pick up my new toy, lovely man showed us it up and running was a great help,well worth the long drive will be buying from here again many thanks.

We came to your shop in Kings Lynn and bought a machine from you Steve. Its been great fun up to a few weeks ago when it started to make a rattling noise when sewing sometimes. I thought its day were numbered and so I rang the shop and it was suggested I brought it or sent it to Sewing Machine World.

Today we made the long journey from Colchester to Kings Lynn. We arrived and were made welcome like long lost friends. The machine was tried, pulled apart and a simple repair made. It now runs perfectly again. I have nothing but admiration for all the staff a Sewing Machine World and would recommend them to all my friends.. So many businesses have lost their personal service to customers, But Sewing Machine world offer a great service to sell and repair sewing machines, spares and accessories.

Obviously a challenge to work out what the problem was which must have involved a lot of time as well as head-scratching - and because I had it serviced there in the last year there was no charge! Very impressed guys. I know where I am going when it comes to a replacement.

I rang this morning with a very poorly machine, broken, with orders to do. Steve said to bring it on up and he would look at it...2 hours later we arrived, three hours later we left, machine working. He and all staff are wonderful, kind, knowledgable and I can 100% recommend them. I have previously been to an excellent course and they stock a wide selection of machine and deeing accessories/ equipment. Many thanks for your rescue today. I will be back!!

I cannot recommend Sewing Machine World enough! I use my Pfaff machine everyday for professional use and put it through a lot. In the midst of a job, it stopped working. Steve had serviced my machine previously so I rang him. He told me to come in and they would look at it straight away. Whatever he did to my machine, it now runs better than ever before! They also have a good range of sewing accesories such as threads, scissors and needles in the shop and a good range of machines for sale. All the staff are friendly and extremely knowledgable. I am so glad that I have found this gem!

Not one of theirs but was helped solve the glitches I was having and shown free of charge how to bling hem and change feet and wing a bobbin properly. Brilliant tutorials I am really enjoying the appliqué work Christmas Cushion taught just before Christmas. I have never done anything like this before.

I also attended one o Pams Tuesday Workshop where she help me to make a dolls dress which my 5 year old Grandaughter loved.

I hope to attend one or two patchwork classes.

Bought a machine from Sewing Machine World when they were at Wroxham Barns on 14.10.17. James was brilliant! Endless patience showing us the machines and his knowledge was second to none. When James delivered the new machine to our home a few days later he even took a look at our old 1950s Singer, and we could see he was genuinely interested. It is rare to see such dedication to detail and so much patience and great customer service these days in a younger staff member. Well impressed with everything and would recommend to anyone!

Came in yesterday with a machine I was having trouble with. Not one of theirs but was helped solve the glitches I was having and shown free of charge how to bling hem and change feet and wing a bobbin properly. So impressed that I have booked a sewing day with Rita in January. Looking forward to coming back and learning even more. Thanks for your help.

Brilliant tutorials I am really enjoying the appliqué work Christmas Cushion taught just before Christmas. I have never done anything like this before.

I also attended one o Pams Tuesday Workshop where she help me to make a dolls dress which my 5 year old Grandaughter loved.

I hope to attend one or two patchwork classes.

Bought a machine from Sewing Machine World when they were at Wroxham Barns on 14.10.17. James was brilliant! Endless patience showing us the machines and his knowledge was second to none. When James delivered the new machine to our home a few days later he even took a look at our old 1950s Singer, and we could see he was genuinely interested. It is rare to see such dedication to detail and so much patience and great customer service these days in a younger staff member. Well impressed with everything and would recommend to anyone!
