In 2009 I began fundraising while on chemotherapy and successfully opened Tamworths only cancer support service. After winning countless awards and figure heading the very successful registered charity we grew and grew to the point that national recognition was displayed in front of 8 million viewers on tv show Surprise surprise.
In September 2014, my own dear mum was diagnosed with lung cancer, one month later our world crashed and she was deemed incurable.
I passed on my legacy of the cancer support service and focused on mum and my family. . . she sadly passed away after a very short and cruel battle on March 12th and my heart was crushed. .
In time after my own healing will continue to help people in many ways out of the goodness of my own heart. . . . but for now I am fighting my own battle. . . . one to repair the huge void. . . .
