Showbiz Studios Description
Showbiz studios has been established since 1951 by Constance Bishop and is now run by principle Alison Lind. Showbiz offers classes for all ages and abilities for boys and girls. All students work towards exams in ISTD tap and modern and R. A. D ballet. when not working towards exams we put on regular shows at the Towngate Theatre and all students have the opportunity to make regular West end appearances at Her Majesty's Theatre.

So proud of everyone, you’re enjoyment was obvious and your beaming faces couldn’t have conveyed this more. You sang and danced your hearts out and I only wish we could do it all again tonight!
I really appreciate how hard all you chaperones worked........ you did an amazing job and I am so, so grateful . Thank you all.
... Sorry if we signed off rather abruptly, but we were told to keep it brief in order to avoid expensive overtime charges. As it happened our de-rig took us over 11pm so we incurred the charges anyway. We could have enjoyed those extra curtain calls that the children all love but another lesson learned for next time!
I will post to let you know when the much awaited DVDs are available but meanwhile please send us your holiday snaps to prove you are practising wherever you may be in the world.
Classes will resume on SATURDAY 8th SEPTEMBER
but please look out for more info throughout the holiday. For now though, feet up and enjoy a well earned rest !

WOW! Well done everybody 🎉🎉🎉 We thought the power cut had last nights show written off but after sticking it it we got everyone in and the show started within 20 mins! Superb! Also a big happy birthday to Clara who was 8 yesterday 🎁🎈 We hope you had a fabulous day! Bring on tonight 🎟🎪🎤🎬🤸🏼♀️🌟👯 ♀️🕺🏻

Please be aware that you are responsible for all the children in your care, and they are to stay with you in the dressing room until called to stage.
Please do not allow children to play or run between dressing rooms.
... Obviously all chaperones MUST BE the last to leave at the end of the show.

*PARKING AT THEATRE* Due to building works surrounding the theatre parking is a little different from previous years Access from the Westgate to the stage door is completely blocked off You can drop dancers off at stage door as drop off and pick up point only You can then park in west gate and easily access front of house if you are watching the show... There is also the underground council car park at the back of theatre by stage door that is free from 5:30pm You can walk round from westgate past the council and bell tower to the stage door but it isn’t the shortest of walks
