FRIDGE INVASION from @brewyorkbeer! We’ve been asked for months for some ‘Imperial Tonkoko’ (Imperial Milk Stout 7.5%) and we just couldn’t be asked any more! It’s here and true to form we’ve accidentally ordered another 7 of their beers to go with it. Boasting names such as ‘Rhubarbra Streisand’ Rhubarb Milkshake Pale 5.5% and ‘Pale Winton’ Tangerine and Mango Pale 5.2% these folks don’t lack imagination. Of course the beer can back it up and a few have been re-homed before ...we could get them in the fridge!

THE #NorfolkBeerBox CITY OF ALE EDITION! Every 1, 2 or 3 months numerous boxes filled with local beers are dropped off to various beer-loving people around Norfolk. We call it the #NorfolkBeerBox or the #NBB for short. A few guest beers outside of Norfolk have been known to make the cut - but not this month! Inspired by the #cityofale and all the breweries involved, we are treating our current subscribers to a special COA edition with 12 different beers from 12 different brew...eries (all who are involved in the festival this year). However, if you want in on the action then you can... you can grab a box of all 12 as a one off for £40 (plus some beer nuts as a freebie) or you can help us build you a 6-bottle gift box which will be in the region of £20 - £25. However, if you want to get involved with the #NBB as a subscriber then these 12 special beers are all yours for only £25. GARAGE, LHG and UILTJE in the house! We are delighted to have a couple of crackers from @garagebeerco including the infamous ‘Soup IPA’ 6% - they have clearly brought the ☀️ with them 🇪🇸! It’s been tough for us to get any @lefthandedgiantbrewing this year but we’ve managed to snag the ‘Deeper Water’ 5.1% Milk Stout and the ‘Inner Circle’ Pale Ale 5.4% 🍻 - cheers! @uiltjecraftbeer are back with a chunky 9% DIPA and a 5.4% DDH Black IPA 👌. Beware of the DIPA whilst BBQ-ing 😎. W...e have the usual madness from @brouwerijkees with a @laphroaig aged Barley Wine, the Omega Vortex from @northernmonk, a 10% Milkshake IPA from @wanderbeyondbrewing (almost normal from these guys 🤣), 1 or 2 cans left of the ‘City of Cake’ from @hammertonbrew and the truly spectacular collab between @boutilliersbrew x @ampersandbrewco - ‘The Way Through The Woods’ Forest Fruits Chocolate Stout 4.5%.

We are delighted to be the first stop on the #unthanktrail and what better way to celebrate than to organise something with the guys behind us that have kept us fed for over a year! We have teamed up with local beer sommelier and world beer judge Cheryl Cade (@thirstbeers) who has devised a beer and food pairing menu based entirely around what’s available from our neighbours on #norwichmarket. Take for example this glorious beef empanada from ...@cocinamia_norwich and a freshly tapped ‘Salted Caramel Stout’ 5.7% from @wanderbeyondbrewing - just delightful! Simply use the key to match a style of beer with your food or visa versa, we even have some pocket-sized versions for you to carry around the market.

FRESH BEER AHOY! I think we did the quadruple this week with a beer delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
Tuesday saw new beer from @neonraptorbrew, the re-brew of Naughty Luggage 6.8% New England IPA and ‘All Signs Point to Ft Lauderdale’ 5.5% Sour Mandarin IPA 🍊. Wednesday was @steammachineteam day with 4 fresh brews, all outrageously chunky and you’ll have to move fast to grab a can of the ‘Gifts From Anatolia - Honeyed Walnut Stout’ 7.4% 🍯 as half have alr...eady found new homes. Thursday was @pressuredropbrw @pollysbrewco and the Sutra IPA 0.5% from @nirvanabeerco which is a superb no/low option 👌. And Friday was @mothership.beer @orabrewing and @howlinghops day courtesy of @vertigobeers, cheers TJ! The ‘Cardamom and Rose-hip Summer Stout’ 6% that was accidentally drunk last night was super tasty ☀️.
