Top marks for customer service today, seems such a rarity these days in many stores but the staff here were so helpful, with a no quibble attitude. I'm a very happy customer

Thank you to the guys at longwater. After my click and collect didn’t go through as problem with the website you did all you could to help and sorted the bike for my son and made it there and then. Little superstars saving the day I will have one happy boy after school xx And well done for putting up with the music no one wants to hear it’s a small world all day ���

Just visited smyths, long water. I'm not someone who usually leave reviews but I do understand the importance of them. This is a shop that I believe understands the importance of customer service. All staff were great, very helpful and cheerful, which is always good. One staff member Shawn was extremely helpful. He helped me locate a toy which I thought was made by someone else. He went a got it for me after researching what it was, lol. I had my daughter in tow choosing toys with her birthday money so had some large items, which he helped me to the till with and pack. What a pleasure and a breath of fresh air.

I went into Smyths Toys today making enquiries about a very popular girls toy .The staff and especially James and David were so helpful they took time to talk to me and were very happy to advise me ,it’s so nice to come away from a shop knowing the staff cared enough to take time out of I’m sure is a very busy day

Disappointed with my visit today as could not get served at the checkout as 2 members of staff on the computer completely unaware of customers waiting to be served. Left my £54 item and walked out.

Thank you for updating your website with you opening times. Just turned up after an hours drive to discover you have changed your opening time. Fb says 10pm, website says 8pm door says 6pm. Great customer service

Disappointed today....signed up for the catalog after the man saying they were giving away free hatchimal, daughter was with me so no getting away from it! Was at the bottom of the form and the man’s radio goes off asking for someone to come an help on click and collect, in front of a table full of adults with their children, he says very loudly, ‘not bloody likely’, I looked at him an said, ‘do you think that’s appropriate around all these children. He said ‘sorry’ like I was in the wrong! Then we go to the till and the woman has her chewing gum stuck between her teeth the whole time she served us, yes she was pleasant and friendly but hardly professional I feel!

Staff certainly a lot to be desired in this store!

Absolutely appalling customer service. I visited the store today with my almost 3 year old to purchase her a balance bike for her birthday. The staff member who helped us pick the correct one was fantastic, couldn’t fault him. When I got to the till, I was asked to pay £34.99. After seeing one priced further up on the display at £27.99 (a sticker stuck on the actual bike box), I queried it and was told that because I didn’t take the particular £27.99 priced marked one to the till that I was to pay £34.99. So I went back to the display and collected the one priced marked at £27.99 and took it to the till (which was even suggested by the till member) to then have a manager come over, rip the sticker off, admit that it was his staffs fault it wasn’t removed (apparently not tall enough - but tall enough to get it down when I asked!) and didn’t honour the price they had advertised it at. I will not be returning in a hurry!!!! My first and last visit!!!
