Solar Polar is a clean-tech product development company. We’re bringing solar cooling to the farms of India and will be offering air conditioning with utility bills. We use engineering to help save the world.

Solar Polar’s story began when two engineers, Robert Edwards and Michael Reid, came together with a shared passion to rid the world of electricity consuming, carbon emitting, air-conditioning systems. Their approach: to use the power of the sun, as cooling is needed most when the sun is most intense. Their mission: to develop solar cooling technology that delivers cooling at the lowest possible cost per watt.
