Southend Libraries are six branches serving the Southend-on-Sea Borough. While we may be known for our books, we also loan DVDs, CDs, Magazines and are a portal into multiple online resources. You can stop by and use a People's Network computer for free or join in a free Storyrhymes session with your little ones. Whatever you are looking for, Southend Libraries can get you on the road to finding it!

Southend Libraries are supporting Mental Health Awareness Week 2019, which will take place from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May 2019. Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, the theme for 2019 is Body Image – how we think and feel about our bodies.
Libraries are great places to find out information and to read something that helps our health and well-being. Look for the #ReadingWell for Mental Health book-lists which have useful books on Body Image as well as other common mental ...health issues.
You can borrow, free of charge up to 14 items from the library.
