What an excellent hospital was abit reluctant for my first op but had an amazing surgeon and everyone in the hospital from the doctors to nurses to receptionists to the physio and catering team and everyone I came in contact with were all really friendly professional and caring always making sure everything was ok and all really down to earth thinking about having another injury just so I can come back joking aside this service is a credit to there patients and all the staff should feel very humble for the amazing work they've done ☺

Love the spire hospital no trouble to the people who work on the front desk my Dr I see is. Brilliant. Then. when you go through to X-ray you still see smiling faces. And when I have to get injections in to my hands those people in that room are friendly has well. Xx

I was lucky enough to have an operation here instead of a NHS hospital. I cannot fault a single thing about this place. From the moment I arrived I was taken care of. Specialists who actually know what they specialise in. There was no waiting around for hours on end, no disgusting meals (They do a cooked breakfast. Yes you heard me. Sausage, bacon and egg in bed) Nurses are readily available and literally cater to your every need. I was even given the option of what medications I wanted post op instead of just given a disposable cup and being told and watched whilst I took it. Having a large family I felt like I was in a spa (bit of an exaggeration but it was relaxing) rather than being on a packed ward having just had a major operation and it was a welcome break . I couldn't recommend this place enough. So much so that I now have private medical insurance and will only attend here in future. Thanks Murrayfield.

I spent three nights and four days here on March, having my right knee replaced. The attention I received was absolutely fabulous.

My room was like a hotel room, en-suite, tv, wi-fi, even the bed was electrically adjustable! The food was delightful too!!

The nursing staff were so attentive. ( not just the medical staff, every staff member was courteous and friendly).I never had to ask for pain relief after the op, my nurses constantly asked me if I needed anything, working on the principle of staying ahead of the pain.

The day after the op, my physiotherapist had me up and walking using a Zimmer frame. This rapidly progressed to walking with two sticks with exercises designed to build up my leg muscles. I did as I was told, and eight weeks after, I am almost back to normal, and pain free!

Thank you Mr. Ramakrishnan and you dedicated team. Thank you Spire Murrayfields for your impeccable care and attention to detail!

User

I just wanted to thank all of the staff at the hospital from the bottom of my heart. I came in on the 13th June for a laparoscopy and I am such a nervous patient. The staff showed compassion, understand and patience with me (who would have thought a 39 year old would get so upset at the sight of a needle but I have a massive fear of them).

The staff where so reassuring every step of the way and I didn't even get the names of most of them but you are all a credit to your progression and a million thank yous from me Louise Joyce xx

User

From Mr Stamer and Dr Frias down the staff were marvellous with one exception and I have reported her. Unfortunately because of her comments I'm really struggling. Am getting tremendous muscle spasms and I couldn't even get in the car to get my dressings changed today. Long story but overall would recomme d Spires. This is the second hip replacement in 6 months and the first time was a fabulous experience. Now I feel guilty snd/or a hypochondriac for complaining about pain. All I can say is I hope she has to suffer soon.
