Ian Neil signed up for Personal Training at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre to help him on his weight loss journey.
He said: “Mallick really pushes me, but his constant encouragement means I’ve reached a level of fitness I just would not have got to if I’d continued to work out on my own. After 2 months I feel so much better and friends and family are noticing a big change in my appearance.”

We took out 5month old baby and had a ball..!!

He loved the wave machine, well worth the drive from Wisbech and we'll be back

We always have a great time at Splash and the staff were really good at keeping the changing areas clean during the half term holiday.

User

The gym is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

User

Staying in sheringham on holiday so thought I'd sneak in a class or two at splash. The instructors were brilliant (Kate? And a guy who taught pump Tuesday morning) the classes were a smalll group of freindly people. Very enjoyable intact I might make another class before I go home. 10/10

User

Lovely staff, we have two boys one with adhd who was anxious about the swimming pool but he throughly enjoyed himself and we will be regular users from now on from Norwich

Awesome centre. Brilliant classes well equipped gym with enough to keep u going without being overwhelming. The staff are all friendly and helpful and we'll able to push u when u need it. The pool (though manic busy in school holidays) is well staffed. Clean and tidy and my kids love it. Would refer anyone to splash for gym or swim or classes. Keep up the good work team!!

£21.75 (family deal) for about 2 hours of fun with our grandchildren while keeping fit we will be back all the way from king's lynn

I have such fond memories of visiting this pool as a child, and still enjoy visiting now, but it seems that somewhere along the line, the council or contractors running the centre have let things slip. Let me give you an example of what I mean:

There used to be lights inside the pool that shone through the water and looked really pretty at night. They obviously stopped working at some stage, and instead of being fixed, they just got patched over.

The flume slide used to have a spray of water inside it from above, and lights half way down. These have since broken and not been repaired.

There used to be a cafe next to the pool, but this has since been simply replaced with vending machines.

The pool had water 'sprayers' at the shallow end which sprayed water into the air. Again, instead of being repaired, these were simply removed and patched over. Why?

It's little things like this that have sadly gradually sucked the magic out of the place over the years for me. The place needs an overhaul.

User

Good pool. Good facilities. Great for the kids and adults alike however the pool sides are slippery. They feel like they need a good clean.

My daughter slipped over and myself and my partner also almost slipped several times.

User

Go to heart rehab classes in the gym which is compact and very friendly atmosphere Ash the trainer is very helpful and supportive then tai chi class which is really relaxing would recommend any body with heart issues to join

User

The pool is great, lovely and warm, the floor in the changing area is DISGUSTING!! it's not hard to keep that area clean yet it seems nobody bothers, it's rank! Dirty water and thick clumps of hair everywhere that you can't avoid standing in! Sort it out splash and employ someone to use equipment to mop it down every hr or so, there's no need for it to be that dirty!

User

I visited Splash pool with my family on wed 30th August where we had to queue for 35 minutes to get in. I paid £19 odd for one adult and two juniors to be then told it was only an hour in the pool which is then very expensive and disappointing when you have travelled an hour and a half to get there! The changing facilities were very dirty the floors were very wet and slippery with hair everywhere! There is not enough family changing cubicles for the size of the pool so after waiting awhile for one the cubicle i did get it had a dirty nappy left under the seat to which the mum leaving had said to me just so you know i haven't left it there which i could see as her children were to old for a nappy so obviously not been checked regularly The plus side is the pool is nice and big and my kiddies loved the wave machine however the rest was disappointing. Regards Katie

Since coming here as a kid roughly 15 years ago, I've not really seen much change as in improvements.

Used to be a small cafe, now closed and is generally looking tired and worn out as a complex. Could do with anti slip mats where people walk.... Almost went over numerous times whilst going to the toilets (again a much needed renovation is needed)

Only really come here as swimming centres is something Norfolk really lacks. Come on Splash get some serious improvements made.

User

Have been going swimming in the afternoon for some months not school hols though, arrived today to find that for 5 weeks some schools are coming in every afternoon,, so no lengths swimming as wave machine on and lots of kids. Don't go unless you ring to check. Thanks for the warning.

User

Went yesterday to be told after paying that we couldn't get in the pool yet as someone had been sick. Staff were wading in the pool collecting stuff in nets. Went back to reception to ask for a refund (which was given no problem) to be told "don't worry it's not sick it's poo" & if we wanted to wait the pool would be open soon. I was at a pool before where a child was sick & the pool was closed for the rest of the day... How is it possible to remove the faeces & allow people to re-enter the water. Wont ever go back. Plus the changing facilities are filthy

User

Very disappointed that the slides and wave machine are not in use, only now used 3 evenings a week and on a Saturday until the 6 weeks holidays.

The pool are not advertising this fact, just take the money and don't offer the services.

User

I was furious it took us over an hour to get there on Bank holiday Monday, we then had to wait over 1\2 hour to get in but what made us really mad you charged us £27 for the hour. When Riverside in Norwich charges £14 how can you justify your prices ? We won't be coming back anytime soon.
