UPDATE
Alongside many other events, big and small, we are forced to cancel this yearŌĆÖs Festival on the Green as a consequence of the national measures introduced to delay the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The impacts and effects on individuals, families, businesses and other organisations are huge and varied.... To avoid putting anyoneŌĆÖs health at risk this decision is the only one the Festival steering committee could make.
The guiding principles of Festival on the Green have always been Get to Know your Neighbour and Community Cohesion. Once the measures are relaxed our ambition is to hold some kind of event on the green to bring our community together.
We will post more information in the future once we are all able to plan ahead with some kind of certainty.
A huge thank you goes out to all our supporters, sponsors and everyone of you who have made our Festival so successful over the last 13 years.

FLY PAST UPDATE
Due to cross winds at the base they are unable to take off at the moment. They will attempt to do it so we need to look to the sky ¤śā

Ready to go again. Fly past with brass band at lunchtime. Breakfast available from 9am. Fair rides, stalls, afternoon musical entertainment. Come on down ¤śā

User

Have just spoken to the pilot of the Lancaster. They are still aiming for 15.44 but if they have to change their route it could be considerably earlier. Keep checking the sky ¤śā
