On Friday we had our Christmas Bingo evening. This year it was held in memory of a special friend of St Illtyd's - June Vaughan. June requested donations in lieu of flowers at her funeral to be sent to Ty Hafan and so the proceeds of last night's event will be sent on to them. In June's memory we raised £345.00. If you'd like to contribute to this head over to Andrea Louise Hughes' Facebook page. Andrea - June’s daughter- has requested donations to Ty Hafan instead of birthday presents. Or you can donate via Harp Funerals. Whatever way please consider a donation to our local children's hospice - an outstanding cause. RIP June.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Margaret Howe who died recently. Her funeral is on Friday 23 November from the family home in Galon Uchaf. RIP Margaret.

The children from our school laid poppies today remembering all those who perished so that we may be free to enjoy our lives. Thank you children, thank you too all who gave everything for us.
