At St Peter’s Craft Press we are dedicated to keeping alive the craft of the Letterpress Printer! Established some years ago by Bill King (a former compositor) we are proud to practice the skills which were, for over 500 years, used to produce most items of general print and most importantly, books of knowledge.

Most ‘presses’ today are run mainly by enthusiasts and only operate in a relatively small way. Nevertheless it is worth remembering that many major printing companies were still basically letterpress establishments well into the 1960’s. We do hope that you will find our page of interest and we will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have upon any aspect of our work.
