Our vision for St. Stephen’s Church of England Primary School is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which all members of the school community are encouraged to be 'the best that they can be' and be challenged to achieve their fullest potential.

Great news...Jimmy is now well enough to be able to spend his first night in school with the rest of his family. He’s enjoyed being outside with them all week and is eating and drinking well by himself. He still has a limp and a bit of a wonky neck but his vitamins are helping and he’s not letting anything hold him back...he was almost flying across the field today! I think he might miss his warm baths, showers and a blow dry but he’s happy to be back with his family again 💜🦆💜
Had couple of willing volunteers today to help get the ducks settled in their new outdoor enclosure. As the weather is warmer today we’re letting them all stay out for the day. They’re locked in and safe and were all really enjoying exploring their new home. Jimmy is doing really well again today and was happy to stay with his family and was enjoying chilling out in the sunshine. They’ll all go back indoors again overnight and Jimmy and his 2 brothers will continue to come home with me every night until he gets his full strength back but I’m over the moon with his progress so far. He’s a superstar 🤩💜🦆💜
Jimmy is still battling on, he’s a real fighter and his brothers are giving him the motivation he needs. We’ll keep saying prayers for him 💜🦆💜
Jimmy the duck has been to the vets this morning as he has been feeling unwell. He is now on antibiotics and is getting lots of love and cuddles. We all hope he gets well soon 🦆💜
