The team listened to our ideas, and developed them to work for the space that they know so well, turning... our dream wedding into a reality. Having the whole hotel meant we could really utilise all the different rooms the hotel has to offer, it’s really like having 3 different venues in one. It was also great having the bridal suite just upstairs so we could pop up though-out the day for a moment of calm or to change into some comfier shoes! The hotel is amazingly located in central Norwich, which was of huge importance for us. We had a lot of guests travelling in from around the country, so the ease of the location was fantastic. For us, the best part of St Giles House Hotel is how wonderful the staff are. They made us feel like ours was the only event they had to work on, and really looked after us. Went for afternoon tea and it was yummy. The staff were so kind and accommodating considering one of the party was a nine month old little girl, they could not do enough to help. Brought back some wonderful memories of an overnight stay I had last September with my husband. Thank you to all the lovely staff ☺️

The St Giles hotel is most hospitable. The surroundings are beautiful. The room is sumptuous and luxurious. The staff give first class service to all, they are dedicated to customer service, they are so personable and ensure that every detail of your stay at the St Giles is memorable. We have cherished our stay and will return. Thank you to the Hotel and it's wonderful dedicated staff.

Stayed Saturday night whilst attending the opera in Norwich. This was our second stay and I have to say that it is our favourite hotel in Norwich. The beautifully styled decor gives a real sense of luxury and I love the lounge with period furniture, fireplace and books. Our ground floor standard room had an enormous bathroom and overlooked the terrace. Evening meal was delicious and so was breakfast. Staff couldn't have been more polite and attentive. Definitely deserves 5 stars

So my wife and I choose St Giles house hotel to have our wedding, we only viewed one venue but as we wanted a fairly small wedding St Giles was perfect. From start to finish the hotel and staff have been amazing. Every member of staff are helpful kind and knowledgable all of this before the actual big day. On the day before and on the big day they went to another level, they mentioned how calm my wife and I were the day before and I think part of this calmness was down to knowing they had everything under control! Nothing was too much trouble. Andrew ran our day and done this in such a professional and personal way, we have never felt so special and important! The day ran smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything but enjoying it! Highly recommend anyone to have their wedding here! Looking forward to staying here and eating here several more times in the years to come!! �����

Our second visit to the hotel and this experience was even better than the first. The rooms in the old building are fantastic and the staff are all great 10 stars and we will keep returning.

Just back from Afternoon tea for my friends Hen do. It was absolutely amazing. Service was first class, the staff and chef didn’t bat an eyelid when asked for plain scones. They didn’t have any but made some just for 1 person in out group. Unhurried but attentive service and amazing food, teas and coffee. What a way to spend an afternoon.

I stayed here on friday night with my bridesmaids and also Saturday night with my husband and friends it was so lovely the staff couldnt have done more for us and we had the same lady throughout (short blonde hair) who looked after us and was very kind. Food was amazing felt like being abroad eating our breakfast on lovely patio. All the other staff were brilliant too. Will definitely return. Thanks again.

Fantastic venue had a Christmas lunch meal the staff were fantastic the food was excellent this venue is definitely a wonderful place if you have a big party of people

A very nice, traditional style independent hotel. Nicely placed for exploring the beautiful city of Norwich. Room comfortable and all expected amenities. The cooked breakfast was a little on the the small side. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay there.

Pre-ordered Christmas meal for 13 people at 7:30pm. Service was SO slow that I finally finished my main meal (no starter) at 9:10pm. Trust me when I say I didn’t hang about eating that, as I was starving. I didn’t need to worry about burning my mouth either, as my roast, although tasty, was only luke warm.

It was served slow and late. It was served cold. Asked for a reheat and it came back with a hot plate and still cold food. Portions are small. Not enough staff on.

Came for afternoon tea and was so disappointing we waited a good 40 minutes for our food and when it came was awful 4 tiny tiny sandwiches one small mouthful and they were gone 2 scones each and small cakes on top and when we rang and booked we asked for more savoury as not keen on too much sweets.

We had to ask for more sandwiches and they bought us 2 quarters out.

Waiting staff lovely though but food yuck.

We came last year and was lovely gone really down hill and for 18.95 each for that measly tea never again !!!!!!

Very disappointed that staff would not consider extending date of Afternoon Tea gift voucher bought by my family for our 30th Wedding Anniversary present. Explained how my wife had been ill for several months and had been unable to come in. We now have to pay ourselves to redeem this gift?!! Very uncaring...

Sadly had a very disappointing stay Friday night where they disputed taking a payment on booking and are demanding they take the money again- despite me showing my bank statement. Now in escalation and think this could be our final visit. To top it off checked into a room that was beyond freezing with the air con fan on despite in being 2’c outside- not acceptable

Came for my sisters baby shower it was shocking prob worst afternoon tea I've ever had! Messed up all our requirements had to ask numerous time for tea, stale bread gluten free they had no scones came up with me Kipling arrangement stay well away! The table next to us also complained

Booked this hotel for my sister and her husband and paid an awful lot for a king room, with a particular request for a bath. The room allocated was absolutely tiny, furnished in a really shabby way, and it had no bath. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement.

Awful! Vegan/ gluten free.... Stay away... Haven't got a clue... Unless u like tracker bars cut up!! Unprofessional and possibly the most expensive afternoon tea in Norwich. Will never come here again. Shame because it used to be a lovely place for food x
