Thanks to all the lovely people we’ve met and worked with this year 🐝 It’s been amazing 🍯 Merry Christmas 🌲🎉🍾❤️

The bees are pretty much hunkered down for the winter but flying on any nice day where the temperature is 7-9 C.
Some are a bit light on stores - typically new colonies that had a new queen in July/August haven’t had as much time to build up and collect enough food. I’ve given these bakers fondant which is the same stuff you will have on your Xmas cake so I guess it’s their Xmas dinner too!

The best local honey! So delicious! I even introduced my 1 year old to it. I won't buy any cheap brand any more. I love knowing where my honey comes from. Definitely recommended.

So today I received a package from @stourvalleyapiaries. They were kind enough to ask me if I would review their homemade honey lip balms and I’m so happy to have received them!Firstly, the packaging is so cute, the heart tubs are really sweet and they sent a card, picture card and a bag to keep them in. These lip balms were 4/8 of the ones they have and I got the flavours: Rose, Spearmint, Wild Orange, And Geranium. The scents are subtle and not overpowering, they are fresh. I have tried a few of them today and they don’t feel greasy on the lips, they apply easily, and they make my lips feel so smooth. I just love that these are homemade because it makes them unique, and I am so happy that I have some of them. If I had to choose, I’d probably choose Geranium as my favourite, because of the flowery scent, but I love all of them!Thank you again @stourvalleyapiaries for this package, I’ve really enjoyed trying them out. Once you try Stour Valley Apiaries honey there is no way you go back to anything else. Best. Honey. Ever.

Much better than the honey you buy in your local supermarket. You can actually taste the difference. We've used it to make breakfast smoothies, had it on toast marinaded our gammon and slow cooked it.

Today we cooked our roast chicken in it.

I tryed the creamy honey, and it was really, really good! Lovely owners as well, and I do so much like the way they treat the bees and fight for bees in general as well.

I will come to visit you as soon as possible, and this time - no hand luggage! So a can take as much of your awsome prducts to Germany as possible! :)
