Strokes Swim School

I have just had a very apologetic message from Olivia to say she will not be able to make the session tomorrow morning due to coming down with the flu. As some of you are already aware Adam is not available to teach his classes tomorrow either which leaves Oscar on his own. Unfortunately we are unable to run a session with just one teacher due to safeguarding issues so with great regret I am having to cancel ALL lessons for tomorrow (30-03-19)
I am told by the teachers that t...hey have already completed most of their assessments, and we will endeavour to complete the remainder of them on the last week of term next week and also have a fun session for the swimmers.

Unfortunately Adam will not be poolside for tomorrows session so with regret, any swimmers in his classes will be cancelled. Oscar and Olivia's classes will be going ahead as usual so any siblings will still have their lessons as planned.

Please could we remind you all that when on poolside, parents and spectators should either remove outdoor footwear, or use the blue overshoes provided in the reception area.
This will avoid bringing dirt onto poolside and help keep the environment clean and hygienic as possible for our swimmers.

Unfortunately Olivia has suffered nerve damage to her shoulder during the week and is not in a safe position to be able to teach her lessons this morning (02-03-19). Anyone who has lessons with her at 10.30am or 11am will be cancelled but all other lessons are going ahead as normal.
Anyone in Lauren's lessons will be merged with Adam this week.

Our home pool is open and oh my it’s good to be back. With it comes some brand new equipment 😃

Good news!! - We have had confirmation that the swimming pool is open and now ready for the start of our lessons for 2019 :-) Many thanks for your continued patience during this disruption, we hope to have lessons run smoothly for the foreseeable future!

The swimming pool at Norwich High is still out of action and will not be open until Monday 21st January. Based on this, lessons on Tues 15th and Sat 19th are all cancelled.
We are expecting lessons to resume on Tuesday 22nd January.

Massive thank you to Buckenham Blast Cleaning Services for the excellent job they have done at restoring our equipment cage, which made its first appearance at Thorpe St Andrews this morning.
The cage has been blasted and powder coated to match our swim school branding, and the whole bottom of the cage which had rusted away due to the chlorine has been restructured and restored, with some lovely new blue wheels fitted too.
You will see from the before and after photos what ...a brilliant job they have done!

We have had confirmation that the temporary fix that was put in place at the pool has been successful and the pool is now open. Lessons will start this Sunday 23rd. Look forward to seeing you all, both new and existing members!
