Went to the Suffolk food hall for a birthday breakfast, we were greeted before we got to the top of the staircase by a very nice young man who immediately made us feel welcome seated us at a lovely table with amazing views got us a drink while we browsed the menu, food was amazing and plentiful we had the farmers breakfast and couldn’t eat anything for the rest of the day till dinner, service was excellent restaurant lovely and clean we usually eat and go but we sat and enjoyed the views for ages, highly recommend.

So I thought I had ordered my Christmas turkey, gammon, streaky bacon and chipolatas online as per usual. I even wrote in my diary to collect on Friday! However I obviously forgot to press the all important SEND button � = no order to collect! Thank you so much to everyone who rallied round and recreated my order from last year and literally saved my bacon!!

Lovely setting to bring our American relations to. We welcomed the air conditioning at this hot time. Very accommodating for my two small granddaughters. Great food as well as friendly staff. 👍👍

Love the venue - gorgeous location on a sunny day. The play area for the kids with the bouncy pillow and sand etc is fantastic. It's a great place for an afternoon playdate. Awesome coffees and cakes too. We have also used the main restaurant on a number of occasions - again, terrific food and not too expensive. A nice treat.

I was bought here for a surprise birthday meal and it was great. We were a party of 20 and there was not one complaint. The waiters were very attentive when needed. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was hot and delicious. My granddaughter had made a cake which they did not have a problem with and bought to the table for me. It all added to the joy of the occasion. It was the best birthday ever.

First time Ive been, absolutely loved it,, lots of things to see and buy and the lunch we had on the Cookhouse restaurant was delicious

Brought my grandma in her wheelchair and everywhere was really wheelchair friendly, she could easily look around with a wide range of food and products.

We had a great afternoon tea in the restaurant with lovely views and they were happy for us to take the leftovers home.

The only thing we couldn't find was a lift in the main building so we couldn't do the pottery painting which we had been considering. Definitely be coming back.

Amazing produce, the young lady on the cheese counter clearly knows her stuff and is so passionate about what she does. We are very much looking forward to our cheese and wine day �

Have waited so long to come here so as we were in the area we decided to come for a snack and drink. Food and drinks ordered just over £20 spent but when we walked into the food market / shop you can buy the same cheese scones for 75p that I have just paid £3.00 for in the cafe. Not happy. How can you add such extra onto it in the cafe it doesn't cost that much to sit on a chair.

We had lunch here yesterday, six of us for my Dads birthday.

We arrived 15 mins early and had to sit in the bar as the table wasn’t ready despite there being empty unreserved tables.

We sat down at 1pm, our starters were not delivered until 1.30pm and our main at 2.30pm. No one ever checked between courses if we were ok. No one seemed interested in asking us if we wanted any other drinks. Food was ok, nothing special but nothing to really complain about. We definitely won’t be returning though as the service was terrible. The only saving grace was the beautiful view.

I never thought I would have to give Suffolk Food Hall a bad review but here it is, waited for half an hour for a seat in the cafe with my Mum in a wheelchair, staff completely blanked me, only engaged us after my Dad stood in the way of the service hatch to be offered a seat outside, in the rain. Tried to get a table in the main restaurant but they wouldn't cook a bacon sandwich for my Dad! I know your food is great but customer service is SERIOUSLY lacking! Such a shame. We moved on to Morrisons, plenty of wheelchair accessible tables there!

Great place for shopping but terrible service in the restaurant. Ordered tea/coffee and breakfast. Waited over 35mins for breakfast to arrive and when we asked how much longer it would be we discovered they had completely overlooked our order and hadn’t even started cooking yet. Left without breakfast. Very disappointed.

What an awful experience. Visited today for afternoon tea, sandwiches dry and presentation not good. Tiny pieces of dry cake. Not once asked if all ok. Scones had sat on a plate all day. Very very disappointed. Will not be going back

When we booked we specifically asked to be seated next to the window, which we were told would be no problem at all, however when we arrived we were offered a table away from the windows despite there being window seats available. When we questioned this we were told that these seats were reserved for other people that were arriving later and that there was nothing they could do, which confused us as we had reserved a window seat ourselves. Further into our visit, a while after we had ordered food, the window seats were still not taken, so we questioned again to a waiter named Lewis just in case there had been a mistake. He seemed very disinterested but agreed to check and said he would let us know. However, he never returned which we found to be extremely rude and appalling customer service. On top of that we then had to wait a very long time for our food to arrive. This was saddening as we have been before and were very much looking forward to returning, but it was diminished by pitiful customer service.
