Sunnyside Church is a lively & family friendly church based in Berkhamsted. We run a range of services to suit different styles and anyone is welcome!

Sunnyside Church Berkhamsted Description

We are an Anglican church in the Diocese of St Albans with a modern worship style, and a strong emphasis on loving and supporting our community.

Services are held at the following times:

Sundays:

The Eight - A short service with Holy Communion following the Book of Common Prayer, this intimate service is held in the Chancel every Sunday morning.

The Nine - A service with hymns, songs, modern liturgy and relevant biblical teaching and Holy Communion usually alternate weeks. There is coffee and tea for everyone after the service.

The Ten-Thirty - A more informal service with relaxed and open styles of worship, less liturgy, relevant biblical teaching and openness to God in prayer and ministry. A full children’s programme of fun activities and teaching accompanies this service.

The Six-Thirty - An informal evening service with space to worship and meet with God with an emphasis on being open to the Spirit in the context of strong biblical teaching.

Monday:
9: 00am - Informal Morning Prayer(30 mins)

Wednesday:
9: 30-10. 15am Morning Worship

There's loads of other things on throughout the week, with youth and childrens activities, outreach groups, pastoral support and senior citizens lunches. We also run Messy Church once a month, usually on a Saturday afternoon.
