A great catch of Bream, hybrids, roach and some Rudd. Miles better than this time last year. All caught on pole / whip with red maggot. Opening day of the season was even better with 11 Bream over 3lb and a total weight in excess of 50lb (my scales bottomed out at 50lb). All in all a great start to the season!

Have a great start to the New Year

A great morning fishing. Four Bream in total... 2 of which can be seen in the piccy. In total about 25lbs weight. Again fishing Pole with 2 red maggot on size 14. Seem to be getting the hang of things again as the catches seem to be increasing, although its very difficult when there is no flow.

A poor start to the coarse season for us. Took a while to get used to things again. However, out this morning on Hickling Broad... much better with one 5lb Bream and loads of Roach and Skimmers. Fishing Pole to hand and over depth. Best when there is a flow. Would take a photo of the fish if I we had some solid ground to lay them on. Also got somewhat sun burnt
