I cannot recommend this salon enough. Today was my first visit at talking heads for a perm and they did a superb job, from booking it, consultation to make sure it wouldn't damage my hair to the finishing touches. The staff are very knowledgeable and explain everything well. They give great product advice on what to use for your hair to give lasting results at home, without pressuring you to buy. Mostly importantly, it's such a friendly salon, the staff really make Talking Heads! If you are looking for a new salon, this is the one you want to go to!

Went in after bad experience elsewhere to get a bad cut and colour sorted. I did not ask price beforehand. Marisa, after listening to me, gave me fab advice about my choice of colour and advised well what would suit me. She also made sure the condition of my hair was addressed. The colours are absolutely fab, love what she did.



I then had my hair cut by John. Again he listened to me. He then cut my hair to show the colour off and suited my face. The hair around my face was cut in a style I would not thought of and I love it.



They are a great team and so friendly, will definitely go back. When it came to paying was over the moon, much lower it price, and I mean much much lower, then I paid at my last place

Was not disappointed it was perfect really good consultation and fabulous cut for a simple straight cut. Marisa gave me some great advice and made me feel so comftable.

It shows just how much Marisa has a passion for hair so glad I feel upon this salon see you soon.

Marissa has done an amazing job on my hair. Embraced the grey and gone from a brunette to a minky blonde with violet tones. Lynne loved it btw! Would love to give a higher rating than the 5 but it won't let me!

Marisa gave my hair an amazing cut which I absolutely love! I would highly recommend! She’s such a lovely lady too - made me feel so comfortable and happy whilst at the salon and gave me some great advice about what products to use to keep my hair in great condition.

I've been having my Tape in hair extensions for over a year now. I have always been extremely happy with how Luiba does them. Today I had the new VIDA extensions. OMG OMG OMG. They are absolutely amazing. You can have the tiniest amount of hair place right at the top of your head adding so much volume. It takes hair extensions to a new level. This method is a must for anybody with fine hair. Marisa and Luiba are just fantastic, amazing people. They know exactly where each strand of hair needs to be strategically placed. I am so, so, so, so happy. Thank you so much ladies. X

I love John and Marissa, who I met when I was around 21 years old. I went to their first salon on Lincoln Road ! They have always been so welcoming and do their best to listen to what you desire to have done to your hair. Their knowledge and experience is impeccable. Here I am at 47 years old still having great, modern haircuts at this salon every couple of weeks ! I consider them lovely friends and look forward to my visits always. One of the best salons in Peterborough :-) They have stood the test of time.

I have been using Talking Heads for the best part of 20 years. I've had many different cuts, colours and treatments over the years. I have never been disappointed with the service from John and Marisa. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

I have been coming to Talking Heads Hair Studio for 17 years (says all you need to know) and have always had first class service. John, Marisa and their team are the ultimate in providing professional yet friendly service to all of their customers.

It's refreshing in this day and age to be treated as an individual and not feel like you're on a production line and being rushed in and out of the door. Talking Heads comes highly recommended. I won't go anywhere else.

I have been a repeat customer for over five years and always very satisfied with the service and attention to detail that I receive. I love the fact that I can even get Expresso as soon as I arrive! Thanks a lot guys:)

I had my hair totally re-styled and coloured here yesterday, when John suggested adding what I can only describe as My little pony pink colour into the other 2 shades I was a little scared to say the least.. but he said trust them they are professional colourists so I did... and thank god I did.. i totally love the colour it came out.. thank you so much for your advise skills and friendly banter,I had a wonderful experience from start to finish can’t recommend his place more xx

Fantastic service! The loveliest woman did my hair and she was fantastic, really skilled and clearly enjoys her work. Both members of staff that were in were incredibly friendly and offer wonderful service. They even showed me the vegan products they stocked which I think was a wonderfully personal touch that just added to the great experience. Will use this studio from now on and recommend it 100% (and their student discount is fantastic!)

Absaloutely amazing service - John ur an amazing hair styliest Would 100% recomend, got my sisters hair done and she loves it �� so amazing ... Proud of the hair and John who actually did it �� my lil sista was nervous but she was happy and smiley at the end, lol Cant wait untill I get mine done.. �
