I was at Taverham Centre yesterday to 'make a fairy garden' with my granddaughter. The children had a fantastic time. The event was well organised and the staff were so kind, helpful and encouraging towards the children. As a primary school teacher, I can say that the activity was well thought out and resourced and I would highly Commend the staff.

Thank you so much. 😊

Came today to see Santa, was a long queue so hubby took 11 year old looking at decs whilst 14 year old took 9 year old to have face painted (for free), whilst I queued. Wow not a quick five min job a fantastic reindeer came back. Finally got to see Santa, £7, there was also colouring for little ones to do free, he was great and really organised. Sacks for boy/girl anf unisex as our daughter really girlie went for girl age 9-11 and told not to open till got home. A fantastic children's cook book worth £8.99. Even the older ones were impressed.

User

Absolutely amazingly fun, my children loved making the fairy/wizard gardens (so did I!!!) the staff were lovely and friendly it really was fantastic definitely one of our favourite activities of the holidays and would definitely do it again! Brilliant xx

A really great place to visit, clean and tidy and lovely friendly staff. We attended the children's create a fairy garden event and it was absolutely brilliant, my 2 and a half year old daughter loved it. It was very well planned and organised, highly recommend it! Would love to participate in another.

User

A great place to visit as it has so much for the garden and more. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful, especially Frances in the silk flower department. She was an absolute superstar. Thank you.

User

Tavenham centre I always like to visit when in the area. A well stocked shop, both this time off the year with garden chairs etc and plenty at Christmas with trees and decorations. A caffee with plenty off hot or cold food with lovely sandwiches made to order and drinks etc. We purchased two very nice garden chairs and a small table, by a very helpful member off staff, who gave us help to put them in our car. A large car park which is also most helpful to view other places around the centre.

User

Lovely large garden centre, selling everything from plants to food, and ornaments to casual furniture. This time of year (November) there is also a wonderful display of Christmas items to see and buy. Dogs are welcome here!

There is a cafe within the centre, which I have visited twice now, but am unlikely to visit again as the savoury and sweet snacks that my friends and I have had with our hot drinks, have been dry and tasteless - we gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first visit, trying them once again, but our second visit was no better. It is, however, clean, and it's OK for a cuppa!

Outside the Nursery there are a number of independent shops, including a fishing shop, Pavers Shoes, a Sports shop, a very large craft shop selling material and all other craft hobby items, a cooking shop, a small unique gift shop, an exquisite (but expensive) unique handmade chocolates shop and a small grocer/farm shop.

Large, free (gravel) car park with other smaller parking areas on tarmac. Allow yourself plenty of time as there is s lot to see! Well worth a visit.

Highly recommended
