There are now over 1000 grey seal pups residing on Blakeney Point - WOWSERS! Could we be ready to set another record?!
Now really is the most spectacular time to come and see the seals! We are once again offering our special walking trips this year when the tide allows us to, giving you guys the chance to see the babies in a slightly different way!

Bear in mind that the early bird catches the worm 🐛(good choice of phrase at the moment for those I'm a Celeb fans amongst us! 😜) - because the trip is early doors on Wednesday it is probably likely to be less busy - a good one to choose if you want a bit more leg room!

Yesterday was a sad day for the Temple family as our lovely (if slightly evil) guard cat Tallulah diced with death one too many times and was run over.
You may have seen her licking her paws in the middle of the lane (causing a blockage of traffic), or saying hello to people as they made their way down to the Quay (brutally attacking them), and just generally parading around Morston like the Queen that she was!
We won't miss turning around to discover she has removed an enti...re roast chicken from the table, or having rabbit carcasses dropped on our heads in the middle of the night, but we will miss everything else about our special cat. She was one of a kind and her attitude and sass will never be replaced.
Miss you already Tallulah-Does-The-Hoola-In-Hawaii ❤️

I think this photo of Tide sums up how we're all feeling after a hectic summer - but we wouldn't have had it any other way! Super sunshine, smiles and of course SEALS! The sun looks like it's decided that its vacation with us has come to an end, but you know what that means...
...it's almost time for those gorgeous little grey seal pups to start entering the world! We wait with baited breath each year for the grey seals to start pupping - those simply heavenly balls of white ...cotton wool we all love to see! Once they start being born you will definitely see them on the beach as they can't swim for the first couple of weeks - please feel free to ring for updates on the number below! They really are worth coming to see.
For me personally this is my favourite time of year for a trip. You really can't beat wrapping up in your snowsuit, a big woolly hat pulled over your ears and thick socks pulled up over your thighs to brave the elements out in the harbour. I can assure you, the hot chocolate at the end will be the best you've ever tasted and so well deserved!

If it wasn't enough of a surprise when Bernard and Matthew hatched out one baby turkey Betty a few years ago (apparently turkeys struggle to reproduce without 'help'), imagine our shock when we discovered that our new additions Harry and Meghan have become parents to FIVE teeny turklets! Look out for them on the lane on your way down to the Quay! We need name suggestions too! 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃
