This morning I did an early morning shop with my impatient 1.5 year old. I decided to shake things up and do scan as you shop. So much easier I don't know why I haven't done it before but the offer of free fruit for the little ones really helped a lot! Instead of his usual tantrum because he didn't want to be in the trolley he sat and ate his banana nicely. Great idea Tesco & thanks very much!

I only nip in Tesco for bits I can't gt at cheaper stores to b honest

But never had a problem with the store.

Yesterday I went to take recycling to the bottle bank & was so shocked at the mess up in the corner of the car park!!

For such a busy store it was disgusting to see the rubbish everywhere

User

Completely chaotic roads in and out of Tesco. Only 1 entrance and exit when there could easily be more if someone actually thought about planning before hand. The store is too big for the range of food available, bigger certainly doesn't mean better. However staff are always pleasant and helpful.

User

just called in to the store only 3 tills open and all 3 staff told me they were shutting I would have to do self service only to find staff blocking the self service area gossiping...for a 24 hour store I find this despicable and ended up abandoning my shopping ..will be a long time before I use this store again

Tried to contact this store on 1st May about a stocked product. Phone not answered, automated service apparently not working. Messaged using FB messenger...no response, now 4 weeks later. Given up, will take my custom elsewhere.

The store sells eggs, in the cafe I was told they had run out of omelettes, but I was offered scrambled eggs instead. I am no expert but for scrambled eggs you put eggs in a pan and stir, for an omelette you put eggs in a pan and don't stir. Eventually I chose a bacon roll which must have been prepared by Carmountside Crematorium. It was black and full of carbon. I won't be going again

The female staff think they are something they are not. Got horrible looks from the female staff made me very uncomfortable. One middle aged lady was pleasant I think she was higher ranked.

Next time I'll go to Asda.

My review is based on their pharmacy and not the whole store ... right now I feel livid that my daughters repeat prescription has been handled in such a diabolical manner!!

On Thursday 14th April I brought my daughters milk prescription in, I was told due to the bank holiday weekend that this would not be ready to collect until Tuesday 18th. I explained to the lady who served me that this is now a repeat prescription which I'd never had before and if she could explain what it is I need to do. She advised to tick the back and they would do the rest. Over this bank holiday we did run out of milk and we had to find a pharmacy open that could sell us a tin, luckily we did at the cost of £16.30! They offered us a swap when we got our prescription, good job we never did that ...

Since you have had my repeat prescription I have been in store twice to collect this and left to walk out empty handed.

Thursday 4th May we have 1 tin of milk left so I came to collect the repeat prescription you have had since the 14th April, to be told that it had been lost! The lady asked me how long my last tin would last which I told her yesterday, Tuesday 9th, she said they would have it in by then for me to collect ... guess what no milk for my 13 week old daughter yesterday! I explained to another lady the situation they had left me in. She was very helpful and reassuring, she told me she was going to ring around all the local pharmacies and arrange to collect a tin from them whilst they wait for Maggie's 8am delivery this morning and call me when this was in .... guess what?? NO phone call !!

Yesterday afternoon my daughter went in for her injections which put her off her milk and luckily last night she slept straight through.

Yesterday I was told to collect her milk at 8am this morning, I rang at 10 past and guess what?? Still no milk prescription for my 13 week old daughter !!!

Her next feed is due at 10:15am and I have NO MILK!!!

Whilst I have been sat here typing up this review my husband has been out to another pharmacy and managed to track a tin down, which is what you promised you were doing for us yesterday!!

I have also spoken with my doctors and they have advised I have 2 prescriptions sat there waiting for Tesco to collect, 18th April & 5th May. They have advised that these have been faxed over to you yesterday.

Lets see is my daughters milk turns up today .... I'm not holding my breath!

If I could give zero I would. Embarrassing service from this store to start they had products on the shelves dated 07/12/2017 when making an employee aware they just shrugged their shoulders, challenge 25 is also acceptable and understandable but when your 27 look 27 and are definitely over the age of 18 it's beyond a joke that I couldn't purchase some Christmas presents for family as I left my ID in the car as I've never had to use it in Tesco or anywhere before (this was not my usual store and I will not be returning), and then to refuse the customer behind me as they believed we were together when we weren't and after calling two different managers down finally allowing the person to buy what they wanted. It was an absolute disgrace. Meir Park Tesco however are far more helpful and friendly. All Longton employees need a lesson from the Meir Park team.

I ordered €1500 online to collect from the Longton store in Stoke-on-Trent so I recieved an email to say I could pick them up today. So I had just finished work and quickly dashed to the Longton store. I stood by the money exchange & the male worker who on his badge I noticed was called Martin & he was a manager had his back to me he turned around after around 5 minutes to say I can't serve you I am going on my break he was very rude and abrupt with me. I explained that I have come to pick a large amount of Euros up which I have ordered and is there anyone else who can serve me as it's the only time I can collect it would only take 5 mins of his time. I literally had to beg to get the currency which I had already paid for! He was banging things around and slamming things down on the counter. When he asked for my bank card and ID he looked and then slammed it down back to me! I was disgusted with the service I received especially as he was a manager! I use Tesco a hell of a lot but now you have lost my custom which to such a big company may not matter but I should not be made to feel like that for collecting something I had already paid for.

User

Disgusting dates on fresh food either same day or day after to which we now go Lidl for,

Picked up some minted lamb steaks which tasted like washing up liquid complaint has been sent to yourself n no doubt won't here back from it so now lost our custom on fruit, veg & meat.

User

Been using this Tesco since it opened. Security saw me coming through the checkout and accused me of not paying when I had a receipt in my hand. Asked for his name and he refused so had to take a picture! He needs do his job properly!!!!!!

User

Been to get some Euros today, 2nd time I've been served by the same guy, he must really hate his job, didn't acknowledge me, no "hello, please, thank you, have a nice holiday"

If I was the manager there, I'd shove him in the cold stocking freezers, misery guts

Went back picked it up came home blah blah blah. Chucked the reciet last week thinking I wouldn't need it. Misses has just opened it and it's not what I paid for. It's god damn crappy jimmy choo. Not only is there a price difference but shitty service. Never again will I come Tesco.

Absolutely disgusting staff that rob ya. I payed for Gucci perfume and had it wrapped. Whilst she was about to wrap it for me she told me to come back in 10minutes. Went back picked it up came home blah blah blah. Chucked the reciet last week thinking I wouldn't need it. Misses has just opened it and it's not what I paid for. It's god damn crappy jimmy choo. Not only is there a price difference but shitty service. Never again will I come Tesco.

User

User

Tesco what a uter shambles why let me buy something then tell me its unavailable the next day they ok taking your money absolutely fucks me off its OK tho as they think refunding my money in 3-5 days makes it better erm no I want my product

User
