how many times do you have to call Tesco carmarthen !! first time they put phone down they cut me off next time they picked phone up and left it down so I could hear everything been said and now they are disconnecting me every time , I'm just trying to speak to photo shop , its really bad customer service please can someone respond ????

Wish I didn't have to give one star. I can honestly say the "service" I have received from Tesco Direct is the WORST I have ever received from any company I have ordered from. EVER. I am still waiting for a phone call from "Sarah" which I was told by "Lesley" would be today, oh the list goes on and on and on. Basically I had to waste five days of waiting around to receive my "signed for" item, and was told the delivery could not be made to my local Post Office or a shop etc. Diabolical service! If I don't hear from Tesco Direct today I shall be taking it further...I am putting a letter to various consumer groups together in readiness as I'm not holding my breath!

Totally DISGUSTED should have received 2 sofas for my mum who is 90 last Wednesday, then you said Tuesday no delivery was supposed to be today. Now told on hold. My mum is sitting on a deckchair. TESCO what is going on. Do something quickly !!!!!!!

Tesco Direct First and last time.



So I order my daughter’s Christmas present from TESCO DIRECT and book delivery for Monday 11th December. Then I get a voicemail asking me to call back and confirm delivery for Saturday, which I do not do because that does not suit me. Then I get an email at 7.46am on Saturday saying it will be delivered between 7.30 and 10.30. Then the delivery guy from XPO calls me to say it will be delivered by 10.40. At 11am I call him back to ask where he is. He is over 1 hour away but will deliver by 2pm.



How shlt can you get? I buy online to save me hassle not create more hassle.

Tesco Direct - don't care about customer service which is painfully shocking. First and last time I would entertain purchasing anything from them regardless of how good the deal may look. We ordered garden furniture and were given a delivery date and time of 8.03 to 11.03 for that day. Box 1 of three arrived at 6.10pm - two boxes missing. Complained - was given a second day with same time of 8.03 - 11.03 .... boxes arrived at 10.10pm when we were asleep in bed. Table was badly damaged inside its box - obviously put there damaged as there was no damage to outside of the box. Complained - replacement box scheduled for following week ...... still waiting !! We call to chase up and get the usual cfrap levels of service and blame on the courier. WE DIDNT ORDER IT FROM THE COURIER !!!! We ordered it from Tesco Direct ..... who are not interested and cannot get us off the phone quick enough with lack of interest and false promises. Will never again use this 2nd rate company. And now having been on the phone for 25mins they want us to wait in for a fourth day to sort it out ..... its our fault , its the couriers fault .... its evryones fault bar Tesco's

So we have ordered a bike from Tesco direct for my daughter for her Christmas present. Wasn’t planning on building it until Christmas Eve so we could keep it hidden in the box till then. How ever I have decided to build it tonight, and I’m glad I did. Cost of the bike was £79.99 so not a cheap bike however it felt cheep as soon as I took it out the box.



1st problem: I found was the casing around the chain was cracked but I thought I would leave it given it’s only 3 day till Christmas and could do without the hassle of an exchange.



2nd problem: was 1 of the pedals had a dodgy thread on it so it was extremely difficult to get it to bite then once it had started it was stiff to turn and a massive struggle to get it in.



3rd problem: just wen I thought I was almost finished I tested out the pedal and chain to make sure all spun and turned nice and the back wheel kept catching the breaks. This was due to a buckled back wheel.



So I ring up to see about getting a replacement bike only to be told that it wouldn’t be here till the 27th December. When was this bike quality controlled???? If at all. I’m now going to have to return the bike and try find 1 that is suitable for her 3 days before Christmas.

Serious word of warning for anybody using Tesco direct. Reasonable prices and good to be able to pickup at local store. However, if you have a problem with a broken or faulty product you are in S*** Creek. I bought a HP stream 14 £219 10 December 2017 order number 4PM39JJCD for my teenage son. The product is standard China shoddy standard (no more HPs for us) and has fallen apart in 4 months ten days. First port of call back to the pickup store; response nothing to do with us mate ring Tesco Direct. contact Tesco Direct palmed off to HP call centre Idrina Romania; send pictures = reply casing not covered by warranty. Next stop trading standards conclusion you paid Tesco direct so they totally responsible and have broken consumer law by palming you off to HP. Today recorded letter off to Tesco Direct for £219.00 plus compensation. my advice to everybody else steer clear of Tesco Direct. Also steer clear of China made HP products as they are total shy*e.

Ordered sofas for delivery Sat 8th Dec - did not turn up. They rearranged for Mon 10th Dec, again did not turn up. Rearranged for Thurs 13th Dec, guess what no show again. Rearranged for Sat 16th Dec, no show again despite another whole day wasted waiting for them.

Never ever again am I using Tesco Direct. The problem is their subcontracted courier XPO Logistics who don't really care and fob you off with excuses but don't bother to deliver.

Really poor customer service. And I am still waiting for either Tesco Direct or their courier to contact me about yesterday's failure to deliver - do I have to phone again ? No, my next phone call is to the Daily Mail and then Trading Standards.

Ordered new mobile from Tesco on 27 May, told delivery on 6 June. Although a long time to send out 1 mobile accepted it because going away 31 May till 2 June. Got email today saying deliver between 31 May & 6 June. Phone Tesco Direct to get them to tell delivery people not to deliver before 3 June & told not possible. In this technological age??? Poor service again from Tesco. Used to thing they were the best & use them for banking, phone, groceries etc. 3 of last 4 grocery orders late. Seems Tesco going downhill fast.

Ordered a washing machine based on the specifications provided. When the delivery details arrived a different model was quoted. Upon checking it would appear that the original specification quoted on the website was wrong. Minimal compensation has been offered. I was waiting until today to comment as I was still waiting for another part of the order. Have had to order a machine from elsewhere, which by the way was delivered sooner and have had to spend more than was budgeted for.

My kids phones were supposed to be delivered b4 xmas to aston store. I was chasing it all day yesterday as i was told order was on way. After speaking to a further 5 people the phones are in the parcel force depot and have been since 4.29am yesterday morning...they never delivered it to store so today i was told to go to birmingham store where i could get them in store and cancel click and collect...so went there to find that they never had them there and didnt stock that phone and was advised to go to aston lane to get them from there. So rest of my shopping was stopped to rush there when getting there they had to call tesco direct to see what had happened about 10 calls from the store were made as signal kept dropping so explained myself over and over. They said to order phones in store they needed to cancel the original order for me to take them from store so i said as long as that can happen and i could take them away today that would be fine so they cancel that order start processing another order which meant they wanted to ask additional questions for credit check that id already passed when they called the department was closed so unfortunately they could do nothing. So the 1 present they asked for is not going to be there now normally it wouldnt bother me because thats not what christmas is about but for children with PDA ASD ADHD they are not going to understand at all so severe meltdowns will be occuring tommorrow. I was then offered £10 compensation after speaking to over 20 people i was also unable to finish the rest of my xmas shopping as tills closed.



This is a family time that has been completely ruined by Tesco and Parcel force and i cannot express how upset i feel about the whole situation. I am dreading tomorrow now where christmas is normally a happy family time. Totally disgusted with how they have handled the whole situation.

I ordered a sofa from tesco direct in March and due to their appalling delivery service with Arrow XL it has still not arrived despite being available for delivery in May!!! On 4 different dates I have waited in for delivery only to find that the sofa has 'failed to make it onto the delivery truck'. There was no communication from Tesco's or ArrowXL. I would never order anything from Tesco Direct again.



Tesco Direct said they would contact ArrowXL for me to chase this up and then told me that they had the wrong number for ArrowXL so couldn't call them! Shocking service.

I have to say your Tesco store in Mereway Northampton was a disgrace today there were no trollies ,several unmanned tills and no sign of any management there were long queues and as usual it was freezing in there . Some one needs to get their act together.

I am absolutely disgusted with Tesco direct! Ordered a picnic basket Wednesday for click and collect today after 3pm.. ( as we needed the item for tomorrow Saturday 21st ) the item had been marked as dispatched since yesterday, so my husband went down to our Strood store.. to be told our item isn’t in store, it “maybe” delivered tomorrow around 12pm but no guarantee



So Tesco why promise delivery for a certain day when you cannot keep to it, so we’ve cancelled our order..thank you Tesco direct you have absolutely ruined our first family trip out!

I Just ordered a few items to take advantage of the £10 off a £50 spend, I spent £60 and the receipt took a percentage of each item off as part of the £10 discount. I had to return one of the items as it was faulty and no alternatives available, that then put the total spend just under £50. They took the whole £10 discount back off not just the percentage of the £10 of the returned item e.g £1.



I asked them about it and received a terse reply that the spend is under £50 so you now lose the whole discount.

Amazon always just remove the percentage and Tesco always did so not sure what as happened to the customer service

Having order many items online during the run up to Xmas , the worst retail award goes to Tesco direct , order in store Sunday , advised to return on Monday , arrived Monday not in stock , have been there now 3 times still not in stock advised I would a call back today still waving for that call !!

Got email today saying deliver between 31 May & 6 June. Phone Tesco Direct to get them to tell delivery people not to deliver before 3 June & told not possible. In this technological age??? Poor service again from Tesco. Used to thing they were the best & use them for banking, phone, groceries etc. 3 of last 4 grocery orders late. Seems Tesco going downhill fast.

Ordered a washing machine based on the specifications provided. When the delivery details arrived a different model was quoted. Upon checking it would appear that the original specification quoted on the website was wrong. Minimal compensation has been offered. I was waiting until today to comment as I was still waiting for another part of the order. Have had to order a machine from elsewhere, which by the way was delivered sooner and have had to spend more than was budgeted for.

My kids phones were supposed to be delivered b4 xmas to aston store. I was chasing it all day yesterday as i was told order was on way. After speaking to a further 5 people the phones are in the parcel force depot and have been since 4.29am yesterday morning...they never delivered it to store so today i was told to go to birmingham store where i could get them in store and cancel click and collect...so went there to find that they never had them there and didnt stock that phone and was advised to go to aston lane to get them from there. So rest of my shopping was stopped to rush there when getting there they had to call tesco direct to see what had happened about 10 calls from the store were made as signal kept dropping so explained myself over and over. They said to order phones in store they needed to cancel the original order for me to take them from store so i said as long as that can happen and i could take them away today that would be fine so they cancel that order start processing another order which meant they wanted to ask additional questions for credit check that id already passed when they called the department was closed so unfortunately they could do nothing. So the 1 present they asked for is not going to be there now normally it wouldnt bother me because thats not what christmas is about but for children with PDA ASD ADHD they are not going to understand at all so severe meltdowns will be occuring tommorrow. I was then offered £10 compensation after speaking to over 20 people i was also unable to finish the rest of my xmas shopping as tills closed.



This is a family time that has been completely ruined by Tesco and Parcel force and i cannot express how upset i feel about the whole situation. I am dreading tomorrow now where christmas is normally a happy family time. Totally disgusted with how they have handled the whole situation.

I ordered a sofa from tesco direct in March and due to their appalling delivery service with Arrow XL it has still not arrived despite being available for delivery in May!!! On 4 different dates I have waited in for delivery only to find that the sofa has 'failed to make it onto the delivery truck'. There was no communication from Tesco's or ArrowXL. I would never order anything from Tesco Direct again.



Tesco Direct said they would contact ArrowXL for me to chase this up and then told me that they had the wrong number for ArrowXL so couldn't call them! Shocking service.

I have to say your Tesco store in Mereway Northampton was a disgrace today there were no trollies ,several unmanned tills and no sign of any management there were long queues and as usual it was freezing in there . Some one needs to get their act together.

I am absolutely disgusted with Tesco direct! Ordered a picnic basket Wednesday for click and collect today after 3pm.. ( as we needed the item for tomorrow Saturday 21st ) the item had been marked as dispatched since yesterday, so my husband went down to our Strood store.. to be told our item isn’t in store, it “maybe” delivered tomorrow around 12pm but no guarantee



So Tesco why promise delivery for a certain day when you cannot keep to it, so we’ve cancelled our order..thank you Tesco direct you have absolutely ruined our first family trip out!

I Just ordered a few items to take advantage of the £10 off a £50 spend, I spent £60 and the receipt took a percentage of each item off as part of the £10 discount. I had to return one of the items as it was faulty and no alternatives available, that then put the total spend just under £50. They took the whole £10 discount back off not just the percentage of the £10 of the returned item e.g £1.



I asked them about it and received a terse reply that the spend is under £50 so you now lose the whole discount.

Amazon always just remove the percentage and Tesco always did so not sure what as happened to the customer service

Having order many items online during the run up to Xmas , the worst retail award goes to Tesco direct , order in store Sunday , advised to return on Monday , arrived Monday not in stock , have been there now 3 times still not in stock advised I would a call back today still waving for that call !!

Wish I didn't have to give one star. I can honestly say the "service" I have received from Tesco Direct is the WORST I have ever received from any company I have ordered from. EVER. I am still waiting for a phone call from "Sarah" which I was told by "Lesley" would be today, oh the list goes on and on and on. Basically I had to waste five days of waiting around to receive my "signed for" item, and was told the delivery could not be made to my local Post Office or a shop etc. Diabolical service! If I don't hear from Tesco Direct today I shall be taking it further...I am putting a letter to various consumer groups together in readiness as I'm not holding my breath!

Tesco Direct First and last time.



So I order my daughter’s Christmas present from TESCO DIRECT and book delivery for Monday 11th December. Then I get a voicemail asking me to call back and confirm delivery for Saturday, which I do not do because that does not suit me. Then I get an email at 7.46am on Saturday saying it will be delivered between 7.30 and 10.30. Then the delivery guy from XPO calls me to say it will be delivered by 10.40. At 11am I call him back to ask where he is. He is over 1 hour away but will deliver by 2pm.



How shlt can you get? I buy online to save me hassle not create more hassle.

Tesco Direct - don't care about customer service which is painfully shocking. First and last time I would entertain purchasing anything from them regardless of how good the deal may look. We ordered garden furniture and were given a delivery date and time of 8.03 to 11.03 for that day. Box 1 of three arrived at 6.10pm - two boxes missing. Complained - was given a second day with same time of 8.03 - 11.03 .... boxes arrived at 10.10pm when we were asleep in bed. Table was badly damaged inside its box - obviously put there damaged as there was no damage to outside of the box. Complained - replacement box scheduled for following week ...... still waiting !! We call to chase up and get the usual cfrap levels of service and blame on the courier. WE DIDNT ORDER IT FROM THE COURIER !!!! We ordered it from Tesco Direct ..... who are not interested and cannot get us off the phone quick enough with lack of interest and false promises. Will never again use this 2nd rate company. And now having been on the phone for 25mins they want us to wait in for a fourth day to sort it out ..... its our fault , its the couriers fault .... its evryones fault bar Tesco's

So we have ordered a bike from Tesco direct for my daughter for her Christmas present. Wasn’t planning on building it until Christmas Eve so we could keep it hidden in the box till then. How ever I have decided to build it tonight, and I’m glad I did. Cost of the bike was £79.99 so not a cheap bike however it felt cheep as soon as I took it out the box.



1st problem: I found was the casing around the chain was cracked but I thought I would leave it given it’s only 3 day till Christmas and could do without the hassle of an exchange.



2nd problem: was 1 of the pedals had a dodgy thread on it so it was extremely difficult to get it to bite then once it had started it was stiff to turn and a massive struggle to get it in.



3rd problem: just wen I thought I was almost finished I tested out the pedal and chain to make sure all spun and turned nice and the back wheel kept catching the breaks. This was due to a buckled back wheel.



So I ring up to see about getting a replacement bike only to be told that it wouldn’t be here till the 27th December. When was this bike quality controlled???? If at all. I’m now going to have to return the bike and try find 1 that is suitable for her 3 days before Christmas.

Serious word of warning for anybody using Tesco direct. Reasonable prices and good to be able to pickup at local store. However, if you have a problem with a broken or faulty product you are in S*** Creek. I bought a HP stream 14 £219 10 December 2017 order number 4PM39JJCD for my teenage son. The product is standard China shoddy standard (no more HPs for us) and has fallen apart in 4 months ten days. First port of call back to the pickup store; response nothing to do with us mate ring Tesco Direct. contact Tesco Direct palmed off to HP call centre Idrina Romania; send pictures = reply casing not covered by warranty. Next stop trading standards conclusion you paid Tesco direct so they totally responsible and have broken consumer law by palming you off to HP. Today recorded letter off to Tesco Direct for £219.00 plus compensation. my advice to everybody else steer clear of Tesco Direct. Also steer clear of China made HP products as they are total shy*e.

Ordered sofas for delivery Sat 8th Dec - did not turn up. They rearranged for Mon 10th Dec, again did not turn up. Rearranged for Thurs 13th Dec, guess what no show again. Rearranged for Sat 16th Dec, no show again despite another whole day wasted waiting for them.

Never ever again am I using Tesco Direct. The problem is their subcontracted courier XPO Logistics who don't really care and fob you off with excuses but don't bother to deliver.
