Thames Valley Police & Crime Panel Description
The Panel is made up of a councillor from each of the 18 local authorities (councils) in the Thames Valley, and two independent co-opted members. The Thames Valley region includes the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, an area of around 2. 2 million residents. The major settlements of Milton Keynes, Oxford, Reading and Slough, other large towns and extensive rural areas all fall within its boundaries.
