What an amazing hidden gem in Barking. Lauren's full body muscle massage was top notch and I feel incredible now.

The spa area was immaculate, I honestly couldnt fault the place. All staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Dont let the surrounding area put you off as once you are inside you forget whats going on on the outside.

The best thing in Barking! Lovely little spa and had an aromatherapy back, neck and shoulder massage today. It was very relaxing, thank you to Kirsty for a great treatment. The girls here a very welcoming and friendly. Keep up the good work!!

I had an eyebrow shape n tint here a few weeks ago, it was a very relaxing experience in beautiful, calm surroundings.. you would never believe it is in the middle of Barking town centre as it has the feel of a luxury spa hotel!!

This is a very special place with friendly staff. I will be spoiling myself with pampering treatments very soon and look forward to using the luxury spa & sauna too Susan :)

I came to the abbey spa a couple weekends ago and could not have had a better experience! What a gem of a spa! From the very beginning the girls at the counter who could not be more friendly and helpful to the lovely lady who did my facial! And what a facial it was, my skin felt amazing for days afterwards! My favourite parts of the spa was the relaxation room with the comfy beds and the salt room! They even catered for my friend who was 22 weeks pregnant! I cannot recommend the place enough, I'll be back for sure! Thank you Abbey Spa! Xx

I absolutely loved this place, 4 steam rooms and a pool it was a great 2 hours of pure relaxation.

Hubby and I had a fabulous afternoon courtesy of a Wowcher offer. A relaxing spa session (loved the salt inhalation room and hyrdro pool) followed by an AMAZING massage & facial and a lovely, fresh, afternoon tea to finish. Lauren and Stacy were SUPERB therapists and the reception staff were all really friendly and helpful too. Totally recommended and we will be back!

A little oasis in the middle of Barking. I can't believe how amazing the facilities were, how professional the staff were and how relaxing the whole experience was. I shared a Spa Twogether Experience with my friend for her 40th Birthday, we had a fabulous time and we will definitely be going back.

A little Gem hidden in the east end! Value for money - can't wait to go again!

I visited the spa for the first time, it was a lovely relaxing experience despite it being a little busy. A nice variety of saunas and steam rooms. I would like to see the changing rooms cleaner. Overall I feel the spa would work even better on a larger scale. I will be booking my first treatment soon!

The spa was nice, small/friendly. Lunch was really tasty. We had treatments after lunch, but unfortunately the put to much nail varnish on, while we still had to change clothes. Even after 2 hours mine nail varnish is still coming off. It could have been warmer at the spa.

Firstly, when we arrived the receptionist told us to wait while she was speaking to her friends on the phone. When she finished, she told is that the dressing room was in the completely different direction and when we were looking for it the receptionists were laughing and giggling. After finally getting dressed we asked for a massage treatment, but the beauticians refused saying they were busy although the beauty rooms were empty and the beauticians were sitting at the reception and joking about.overall, I should say that it is an awful spa and I don't recommend anyone to go there again.

Me and my boyfriend booked a spa session. We called to arrange the date and they clearly (CLEARLY) told us we were booked for today 1st of January! We crossed London to reach the centre and it was closed!!!! We've been waiting 30 min outside as the web site says today it is open even if with different opening time! No one picked up the phone, no one around! It was definitely closed!! We spent money to book and money to travel!

We booked in November!

The worst thing is: we called and they clearly said our session was booked for today.





This is totally unacceptable!!!
