Oh gosh....up in 3 hours... best try to get some sleep :-::)

Must be Christmas...look at the time!!!! Great cheese club tonight, wonderful atmosphere and a table full of delightful cheeses...including some lovely folks from MK who returned on recommendation; pub cleaned after hours in preparation for the mahem of tomorrow!!! Please continue to support us and your other local pubs....we all work so hard and village pubs are dying out because of the pub chains in towns! I even managed to get our tree up in our lounge upstairs, the singin...g ballball, a family tradition, is up on making noises that makes James' hairs stand on end with irritation....lol....!!!! The kids & I enjoyed doing our usual dance routine to the dulcet tines of 'rocking around the Christmas Tree', whilst the dog went bananas and we all said Bah Humbug to Jimbob.....any other landlord knows how hard it is to even get time to spend precious time doing things like this with family at this time of year!!!! We really appreciate your support, keep it coming!!! xxxx

Sat in here now after a Sunday lunch. Great food. Great service. Deserves 5 stars for sure.

Only had a beer on my way through the village but was a lovely cosy and friendly pub.

Now been four times in the last few months. Great food, great beer and great service, and my, they have some great night time offers. We once frequented this pub lots in the 1970s and 80s. So pleased to have found it again and it such great shape. We will be regular visitors.

Just had a fantastic meal for my dads birthday. 9 of us served promptly, food wonderful and atmosphere great. Exactly what a country pub should be like, will definitely be back.

Just been to this amazing pub for sunday lunch , food was delicious , staff and locals so friendly and welcoming luckily for us my daughter has just bought a house in the area so hopefully will become our local as well

I've eaten here a fair few times and I'm a fan, friendly staff real country feel, low ceilings very old building, but the food is very good value. £16 for a steak dinner which you would easily pay £22 in other restaurants/pubs. Would recommend to anyone.

I am lucky to have The Bell as my local and visit frequently. However, I have recently celebrated a “significant” birthday in there and I can’t recommend this lovely pub highly enough!



James & Sally’s warm, friendly welcome was extended to all along with a huge amount of food. Without exception, all of my 60+ guests commented on what a lovely atmosphere there was.

Great village pub. Lovely staff and of course Sally and James. Will be going back again and again. If your out and about head this way and stop for that crafty pint! You will not be disappointed.

Delicious Sunday roast, friendly staff. Everybody having a walk around the country park needs to know about this gem at the bottom of the path! The partner was disppointed he was driving as he wanted the sample the ales - maybe next time!

Back to the traditional village pub. Lovely setting, stylish decor, friendly staff, great food and an amazing choice of different Gins to complement their range of beers, wines and spirits. I'll definitely be going back to experience a Sunday Roast.

11 of us just back from a delicious Sunday roast dinner with some huge & yummy desserts to follow. Just wanted to say a big thank you for great food great service in such a lovely friendly cosy pub. We'll all definitely be back & highly recommend to others.Merry Christmas!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, food was very good. Went there thinking I'd have a steak but had a Thai prawn curry which was excellent. Decent selection of wine, massive cheeseboard. Didn't use the loos but another of our group did with no complaints.

Lovely place to have a drink in the garden on a sunny day . Didn't eat on this occasion but the staff were lovely . Felt welcome by staff and also other customers . 👍
