Won the afternoon tea it was lovely , nice pub and the food looked great! We will be back!!

We went for lunch today, I had the red snapper from the specials which was excellent. My 3 year old loved the new under 5s play area, we will be back soon!

We turned up without a booking, and a lovely young lady found us a table, on what was an obviously busy night (Friday) on a very warm evening. The service was with a smile , the food excellent, two of our guest were from "Oop North" and said the fish and chips were better than in their neck of the woods, praise indeed. The rest of us had a selection of dishes, all very well cooked and very tasty. All in all a lovely evening, in a lovely pub which we just happened upon on our drive. We will be going back again soon (I hope).

We had our daughters Holy Communion lunch here today. The staff were exceptionally helpful with our requests due to mobility issues. The food was fantastic. Thumbs up for the Yorkshire puddings from my Yorkshire hubby and father in law. We hardly saw the kids as they were having such a great time. A real gem of a place. �

Visited today with our two young children and 7 month old puppy for dinner. Food was excellent and staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Visited for the first time on Thursday for dinner with friends. Food was absolutely AMAZING! Highly recommend this place for food. Can’t wait to return �

This is a great little pub with a lovely atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get a table at the last minute. The staff were all happy and friendly and the Sunday Roast delicious. We will be back but we will book in advance next time to be sure we get in

My first visit to your pub and it was lovely. My daughter and I along with my daughters friends doggie received a warm welcome. Staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely fab. I had chicken and bacon pesto pasta, gorgeous and my daughter the burger. She mentioned it was better than Gaucho’s and a third of the price. We loved it. Will definitely be back soon, thank you, keep up the good work. 5 �

Many thanks for hosting the Middlesex County Automobile Club council meeting this evening, appreciated that you reserved a quiet space for us. Great food with great company in a really nice atmosphere. Looking forward to our club meeting on the 5th July - :-)

Lovely family lunch, food all delicious and staff very attentive. They bought out a special birthday pudding for my mum and sang Hapoy Birthday which was not promoted and really made her day. Would def recommend

Love this pub- staff are always welcoming and friendly. This is my ideal country pub- great in the summer with the large garden and cozy in the winter with warm fires and twinkling Christmas lights. Mum and I have just enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea consisting of finger sandwiches, cream scones with fresh fruit and jam plus numerous delicious tartlets and brownies. We did our best but alas couldn't possibly manage all that was on offer so of course we've gone home with doggy bags full of goodies! Thank you to the Boot

Hear at the moment and have just had a gorgeous afternoon tea. Lovely member of staff looking after us couldn't do enough for us. Fresh, tasty sandwiches beef was delicious, fabulous selection of cakes, scones with fresh cream and strawberries.

Will definitely be coming back ��

Awsome high standard of food being served from a small establishment backed up by fabulous staff nothing is ever a problem. Even if was forced to eat a second pudding lol. They organised a lovely wake for a truly wonderful woman can't thank you enough for making it a wonderful day

All the family love this pub good food, good beer and plenty for the kids to do a real winner especially on a nice day.

Have been here for Sunday lunch many times. Yesterday came with family and my children and was very disappointed with the food. Both children's lunch was inedible extremely greasy and not eaten by either. Our mains were average at best, definitely not what we have become used to receiving. Staff were friendly and polite which was the saving grace. All in all disappointing and not worth the money.

My granddaughter brought me here for afternoon tea as she had won this on Facebook. I wish we hadn’t bothered the sandwiches were so dry, when they brought more out they were also dry. We were told by staff we would be contacted after our visit we haven’t so my granddaughter messaged today to then be blocked !!!
