We hired a booth all day and night for my 40th celebrations and were blown away with the service we received from our personal waitress who constantly checked we were ok, the quality of food/drink from the package & outdoor kitchen and the beautiful setting to be able to sit back/relax and enjoy the celebrations! Thank you to everyone at The Bull!

Our 2nd visit to this pub garden with all the family for a birthday celebration it is the most perfect place for a gathering with a kids play are plenty of seating, an outdoor bar and bbq/kitchen with several pods which are a fabulous idea, we wanted to hire one of these yesterday but my only wish is that there were a couple nearer the kids play area so that we could keep an eye, nevertheless we had two benches near the gate so we were able to keep an eye out for escapes, children ranged from 11 down to 1 month and we had our puppy on a stake/lead in the corner, it was utterly the most perfect place. Thank you so so much we will come again with more friends and family, definitely 5* for sure

Hosted my baby shower here, great venue. They allowed us to decorate the area and sectioned the area off so it was a private function. The food was good, everyone was enjoying the drinks and most stayed on to enjoy the live music in the bar afterwards which was great too. Thanks to the staff and management

Absolutely beautiful meal for 4 on Easter Sunday,

The beef was cooked to perfection, the waitresses were attentive, friendly and looked the part, we could not fault the starters main or puds and the cocktails were delicious. We even got a chefs serving of cauliflower cheese to accompany the meal, not a big deal some would say but as the chef passed us he even asked how the meal was, that always gives the experience a nice personal touch,

I was last here 10 years ago and it just seemed a pokey busy little pub, we dined in the urban area which was spacious, warm and just right.

The ambience and the place is somewhere we would definitely like to return to, For a local pub the price is expensive, but if the experience is of that we had yesterday, We were happy to pay those prices. It has been so difficult to find a local pub to us that serves fresh, beautifully presented food of this quality, this place felt classy, and friendly, and would love to have Pubs in Grays follow this place as an example. Perhaps Grays would get some better reputation if it did. Well done The Bull!!
