Was in today. Had a beautiful chicken and rice soup with gorgeous Mediterranean bread. Yum.



Took a giant scone home for my husband.

The cakes are amazing! Lovely place to have a coffee overlooking the square.

Terrific coffee and great desserts,, very cozy.

Lovely friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommended.

I would say over the years my experiences at the CC have been mixed but things have improved in recent months. Service has always been pretty good but I'm finding it more consistent now - perhaps due to the advancement from pen & paper to a digital system. The coffee is perfect. I tend to like simple black with a dash of cold milk & it's always spot on. Food good and reasonably priced. Overall one of the best cafes in Helensburgh. Even better on a nice day when you can sit outside �

Fantastic food and lovely comfortable surroundings. Our server was so nice, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. This is the best place in Helensburgh to eat or just for a coffee and a chat. They don't rush you, unlike some other places.

Fabulous breakfast this morning, Eggs Royal delicious, the sad bit was we were too full for any of the homemade cakes on offer.

Crispy bacon roll and a cup of tea for £3.95 was amazing. Bacon cooked to perfection and the service was fab

Cheese Panini was lovely Staff pleasant and friendly

Our party of 3 enjoyed their food, service good. Realised I had left my phone behind and staff very helpful in helping to locate....thanks Alex

Nice coffee, tasty bacon butty, good price. Good place to stop off at.

Breakfast outing ..while visiting family very nice

We were in during the week and had Soup and a Sandwich which were both great. On the Sunday we tried the breakfast, It was really disappointing, solid overdone eggs, fatty bacon and it came in a bowl ? The fair mark is really for the overall experience on the two visits.

Very disappointed. Waited 35 minutes for our lunch. Drinks came within 10minutes minus glass of water. Baked potato lumpy. Went to the ladies where toilet seat broken, carpet before entering disgusting. Have visited this coffee shop for many years but will not be frequenting in the near future.
