Fairy circle at full moon Drew this this evening It started out as a moon study but was a bit boring so I scraped back some colour to create a fairy circle

Irish lace motifs take between 1+ 6 hours each to make- can’t wait until the next stage joining them to create a garment
Started learning a new skill today Irish lace - the idea is you make many motifs then link them together with a lacy crocheted background to create a pattern then use the resulting cloths to make your garment. A little like freeform crochet only the design is planned before setting out on the project, whereas freeform as the name suggests grows and develops without pre-planning.
So I ran out of wool as predicted but I’m happy with the results Could be described as a scarf or shoulder warmer or stole
Latest project, love the colours in this shawl, but I’m running out of yarn so it’s going end up more like a stole 😀
It’s growing
