The Cuckoo offers delicious menus and an ambience that is stylish, welcoming and relaxed.

The Cuckoo Description
When you want to eat out, you couldn’t do better than visit The Cuckoo. You’ll find menus that tempt the tastebuds and an ambience that is stylish, welcoming and relaxed.
You’ll get a truly gastronomic experience with a sophisticated menu. Chef Brendon chooses the best produce available from the fishmonger, the butcher and the greengrocer. If there’s something really good available, that will appear on the menu at lunch and dinner! Although there is a seasonal menu with standard dishes, you’ll find the special options an adventure in taste, texture and temptation every time you visit!
If you haven’t visited The Cuckoo before you’ll love the warm, elegant, country style with a wood-burning stove to keep you cosy in winter and rustic dining outside on warm summer days.
Please note that The Cuckoo is available for private hire on a Sunday.

Was our first time at your restaurant Absolutely couldn’t fault it food was amazing and the service was great will defo be coming back again soon my boyfriend pick the restaurant as a surprise for me he defo done good

The restaurant was located in a beautiful country setting. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything on the menu was homemade including the bread served. Dishes served was a very high standard of cuisine. Very popular with local clientele. Recommend you reserve a table at least two weeks in advance.
The food was delicious, the servers attentive and the pub and surroundings well kept and beautiful. A perfect birthday lunch!
Staff were great and very helpful. The service and food was excellent - definitely one to add to the list!
Our first visit and we where blown away we expected it to be good as we read some good reviews.. but it was above what we thought it would be we both travel the world and enjoy eating out and trying new restaurants but to have this Gem on our doorstep is excellent.. we are new to the area and this is yet another bonus to this great part of the country..Great service and superb food .
Our daughter took my husband and I out yesterday for a late Father’s Day meal. She had been away on holiday so hence the late booking. She had been to the cuckoo before but we hadn’t. As we drove up I could tell we were in for a lovely time. The food and choice and attention to detail was spot on and so were the lovely waitresses. We will certainly be coming back. Many thanks.

On Sunday 4th September I attended a 50th Birthday dinner at this cute intimate restaurant.
On arrival the staff and owner were brilliant, really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had the chicken and the beef.
They were both cooked to perfection and the taste was out of this world. They even asked how we wanted the beef pink or well cooked, this is great as places always serve it pink and I don't like it pink so this was a really nice option to be asked how I wanted it!
For pudding we had strawberry shortcake this was also yummy! Everything was fresh and the taste was outstanding.
If you want somewhere special to eat then this is the place, or if you are holding a dinner for your birthday or special occasion look no further, go to this restaurant I promise you will not be disappointed.
