About The Dojo Norwich
The Dojo Norwich is a brand new, state of the art, Health and Wellbeing Centre.
Not only is it the home of ESKA Karate, it also offers a variety Yoga classes, along with Iaido and Kendo.
To top it all off, we also have the Bonsai Cafe.

The Dojo Norwich is hosting 4 Knife Awareness Open Courses in 2019. These sessions will run from 6.30pm โ 8.30pm on the following Mondays:
Monday 25th February Monday 13th May Monday 9th September... Monday 25th November
ยฃ15.00 Per Session
Each session is run by Mark Cook who is the Head of Total Knife Defence UK with over 20 years experience in knife defence.
The sessions are open to both members of ESKA as well as non members and you do not need any previous Martial Arts experience. You must be 14 years or older to attend.
Each session will cover the facts around knife crime, self defence law, practical examples, demonstrations and scenario training. All equipment will be provided.

Very impressed with the high standard and finish of the building , it all looks fantastic, the teaching is a very high standard and helps young people to reach their best potential. My granddaughter loves it.
This is very Impressive and I look forward to training under that roof, making the first few memories in a Dojo which I am sure will be known in UK and abroad as one of the finest and not only for the structure but also for the instructors/students. OSU
There is no doubt in my mind that this will be one of the best Dojos in the country and maybe even further a field. This will be an amazing place to teach and train. Osu
The best facility in Norwich for martial arts, yoga, Pilates and much more. It also has a first rate cafe with fabulous coffee and delicious food.
The Dojo is a fantastic environment for kids to learn martial arts in a fun and friendly environment. Regardless of the kids attention span, ability or coordination, the trainers focus on the positives and everyone is included. This isnโt just a karate school, itโs an all inclusive community.
My son jumps at the chance to attend a โcatch-upโ Tiny Tiger class at The Dojo - he loves the venue and the Bonsai Cafe ๐. The Dojo has a chilled vibe and as parents, itโs great to be able to watch the karate from the gallery or through the large glass windows in the cafe. A great venue.
My daughter loves training here. I enjoy being able to sit in the viewing area or the cafe to watch her. The staff are always friendly and listen to the requests of those using the facilities.
My daughter had a fab time at holiday club today....its 4 hours since she left and she is still talking about it and definitely wants to come back. Thank you for making it enjoyable.
May we please thank and congratulate all the super ESKA instructors who coached our two keen but nervous children to success over the last few months to gain their red T shirt and 9th kyu red belt at UEA today..Well done! They are thrilled as are we (Osu and thanks from Ruby and Finley ๐๐
Lovely food and excellent customer care. There is a very friendly atmosphere. It's the ideal place to sit and have something to drink or eat while waiting for our son to have his PT.๏ฟฝ
I had the pleasure of training at The Dojo Norwich for the first time on 13th February 2017 โ a superb facility.
The main dojo has an excellent wood floor and wall-length mirrors, with a double-height ceiling, making it a first-rate space for Martial Arts practice and tuition.
The adjacent Bonsai Cafรฉ serves fresh food and a reviving cup of tea โ just the ticket after a hard training session.
Hi spec dojo with the very best instructors! They just keep making white belts into champions!
Having studied karate when I was younger (but still an adult), I wanted to give my children the chance to start when they were still flexible and able to learn quickly. I never thought that I would take it up again but the brilliant family atmosphere of ESKA dragged my wife and I in too! Now all 4 of us train at least once a week! The "new" dojo gave a great headquarters for the association and a 1st class karate training venue.
Fantastic purpose built martial arts dojo. Run by a highly skill team of dedicated instructors that have a genuine passion for Traditional Shotokan Karate.
Fantastic place, great staff & great cafe.
Excellent set up, really great teachers (both senior and junior) they make people very welcome
