Also many many memories being here as new Mum. Walking playing giggling with my Jacob and Jemima. Beautiful warm memories that know one can erase. So being here I feel safe and at peace. Daytime or night time doesnŌĆÖt matter always leave here smiling and happy even if I arrived there crying and sad.

The hotel is a great spot for a meal or a stop over. We stayed only one night. Great ambience. The staff, dinner and breafast superb. The weather was very warm our west facing very quiet room never cooled so had the fan running all night. No lift so had to carry a large heavy case to the second floor. The sensational staff offered to assist. Thankyou.’┐Į

Spent 2 nights here ..... was lovely. Staff very well organised and couldn't do enough to help. Lots of little extras, real coffee, snack basket in the room, extra toiletries. Extremely clean and beautifully finished rooms. Was worth the extra for the river view room. Food was top notch and not expensive. Lovely setting for walks and close by to the town. Will definitely go back

Our first time visiting today after many recommendations.

We had two amazing breakfasts (full English). The poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the sausages and bacon were very nice. The embankment has Lovely staff and the hot chocolate was de-Licious.

The decor is nice and the mood is relaxed and comfy. We will be returning!

Lovely location along the river Ouse. We sat outside lovely food big potions great value. Was recommended by local lady as we walked along looking where to eat. A great choice

I had not visited for about 2 years and only stopped for a drink. The service was welcoming and even found me a dry chair so I could sit outside. Hot choc and a Bailey s on the side ŌĆö a very nice touch - smarties. It was good to be back.

Great location, good food, the room was really good. We stayed there because we went to the British F1 GP at Silverstone. About 1 hour to the circuit and not much longer on the way back, even with all the traffic. Overall had a great weekend and staying at the Embankment added to it.

Me and four friends are here yesterday, food was fine. We actually all ate from the 2 for 14 pound menu. Bar staff/serving staff were helpful. Will definitely be back

Went as part of a big group and had the private room. Very noisy as no soft furnishings to absorb so sound made conversation hard. Food was mediocre, ┬Ż30 steak was underwhelming to say the least. The cheesecake was bland and without real substance and the honeycomb was burnt. Not pleasant. Did not make a fuss as with such a large group to be fair on the business but really not enthused to return any time soon.
