We are looking for a couple of ladies to join the other members of our Ladies darts team, The season soon kicks of on Tuesday nights, The ability to hold a dart is fairly important , if you can then follow through to throwing it in the general direction of the bit of the wall that is covered by the dart board then that is even better.

What an amazing night. The atmosphere was crazy, I didn't see 1 person who wasn't enjoying themselves.

The band did themselves proud but the big well done goes to the bar team. I know it was a stressful night for them but they stayed calm and got the job done, well done guys

Hired the barn last night to plan a party on a budget...x the new manager and all staff couldn't have been more helpful - we decorated the barn days before the party, could come and go we please and they helped sort the equipment for the music x x would definitely recommend and will use again x x

Hired the Barn for a party yesterday. The barn is lovely and everyone couldn't be more helpful if they tried! Would definitely recommend The Flying Dutchman to anyone that is looking to hire a party room! Thanks to all the staff! X

Came all way from peterborough and was welcomed by the most wonderful local people ever! All staff and organisers to this event made it really special and successful. Myself and the band Crimson Tale would be delighted to come back and enjoy the hospitality anytime. Well done guys. Best live music pub i been in for decades xxx

Held a party last weekend here, the staff especially Lee were very accommodating & helpful. Party was a complete success but only complaint was it was too cold! Our guests who couldn’t stand near the log burner froze all night which was a shame as they’d traveled over from Somerset & also London. Apart from that it was a good venue.

Had my Daughters 40th Birthday party in the Barn last Friday, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, great venue for a party.

Been my watering hole for alot off years, that should tell you something

It was ok but a bit cold with plain brickwork and a lack of plaster on some walls.

Had an awesome time listening to all the great performers who had donated their time for the lil chris event.

Beer at £4.10 a pint nearly ripped my heart out!!!!!

Bar staff were lovely and rushed off their feet but still managed a smile - BUT - A very insensitive Barman wearing a very inoppropriate t.shirt, caused a certain lady to almost have a breakdown - couldnt believe the audacity of him. Felt so very sorry for the poor lady.

Was a real rip off - Wont be going there again.!!!

Enjoy watching the live music but would help if staff prioritised serving waiting customers over chatting to their mates - ended up leaving and spending money elsewhere because of this.

Went to a party in The Barn last night band Distant Sun brilliant but service in the main bar not brilliant. Not enough staff serving it was 6 deep at the bar. There was a boxing match on so they knew they would be really busy so should have got more staff in. Won't be returning any time soon.

Looks like I won't be able to enjoy a pint in my local anymore as my mates ex wife works there. Anyone who she dislikes will be evicted.
