Tonight was an excellent last session of the year... We are now closed for Christmas and lessons start again on 7th of January 2019... Happy Christmas

Melissa and I had a great day at Kixx Martial Arts fight club on Saturday. Three hours of sparring with and without gloves and lots of push hands in between rounds. Learnt lots as always. Big thank you to Nigel, Tracy and everyone we trained with. Here's a few pictures...

I was lucky enough to have time to stop at Grandmaster Hans house today for a chat and a cup of tea... spent just over an hour talking about strategy and training methods for sanshou fights.. some very good advice look forward to trying it out later tonight. Also had a look at book number 9. Looking good, excited to getting my copy soon . . Please ask if you would like more infomation about Grandmaster Hans series of books on the NanShaolin Wuzuquan System . .

Another good Wuzuquan class tonight. . Few pics. Finnally getting to grips with the video software should have some short clips in the next week or so. Extra well done to Elijah for staying on after 2 hour class to do some extra Sanshou sparring . .

Whilst I have never found anything that I enjoy as much as Nan shaolin Wuzuquan, Wujiquan and Sanshou , It is always interesting to try other arts and provides useful feedback to your practice. Whilst in Japan on holiday Melissa and I were lucky enough to be able to do a few hours training with a professional and a highly experienced amateur Sumo Wrestler They were both very friendly, Knowledgeable and incredibly strong. We had a good time

Good Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan class. Lots of stretching, set sparring, free sparring, forms and four principle devolpment exersices. . .

Back from holiday classes start again tommorrow. . 8pm Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan. . .bring water and a sweat towel we have catching up to do
