We have a position available to join our team of 4 other chefs. Duties will involve all aspects of kitchen work including preparation of dishes for a constantly evolving menu, stock control and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. A minimum of 40 hours per week are available. We are in a rural location so your own transport will be essential. For more information please telephone Mrs Deborah Palmer on 01366 382229.

We have a Chef's position available.....fancy joining our kitchen team? It's a permanent position that would suit an experienced chef used to working in a busy environment. A minimum of forty hours per week are available and will include split shifts, weekends and evenings. We are in a rural location so your own transport is essential, as are some passion, commitment and a sense of humour! Please contact Mrs. Deborah Palmer for further information.

Harding over the cheque to Maarten Klem from Kings Lynn Foodbank....pleased to say we raised £660 for this worthwhile local charity from our Christmas Draw in 2018, a big thank you to everyone that participated.....

Stow Hall Gardens are open this Sunday, make the most of the lovely weather this weekend and pay a visit.....then you could pop over to us and see the peacocks and our "GoGo Hare" called "Barley".....maybe take in a spot of lunch too?😉....

User

People often wonder what the low level mirrors in the back garden are for.....here’s the answer!.....

User

Valentine's Day tomorrow!......think you've left it too late? Think again.....most of our restaurant tables are already booked, but we have lots of seating in the bar and "Front Room" that are available on a walk in basis....we will be serving our regular menu throughout, with some "extra special" daily specials, including prime fillet steak in a wild mushroom, cream and brandy sauce and some lovely fresh lobsters.....❤️

User

Steak and kidney suet puddings......back on the specials menu from tonight......

User

Anybody help or recommend help for a (potentially) simple problem with our EPOS system? Everything works apart from the kitchen printer.....tried the obvious, switch off, switch on, reboot and all the cable connections it no joy so far.....

User

I told you it wouldn’t be long....::

After just over two and a half years my handsome "new mate" and I are developing a bit of a bond.....(ahhh...) I don't think it will be too long before I will be able to feed him by hand!.....

User

Just a reminder.....we are closed this evening, New Years Eve, and all day tomorrow. Open as usual again from Wednesday 2nd January.....HAPPY NEW HARE EVERYONE!....🍾🥂

Went here yesterday as a party of ten for my 45th birthday. What a truly delightful place! The food was fantastic as was the service. We will definitely be back when visiting family again in Norfolk and would highly recommend to all.

We were recommended the Hare Arms by friends who had discovered the pub during their holiday in Norfolk. We too were taking a break a few miles away so booked a week in advance for Sunday lunch. The bar area was busy as was the restaurant & 'coach' area with families with children & couples. The roast beef dinner was fab with lovely homemade yorkies! My daughter had fillet steak which she said was delicious. Service was great, staff were friendly & food spot on. We will definitely be back. The added delight was on the back patio area but you'll have to visit to find that out for yourselves!

We popped along yesterday for the first time since your refurb and were in ore of how fabulous it is. We loved the new decor and the staff were their usual friendly accommodating selves and nothing was too much trouble. We sat out in the garden to eat our meals because it was a warm afternoon. The Ribeye Steaks we had were delicious and cooked perfectly, the meal was totally faultless. Lovely pub, stunning inside and out. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

The Hare Arms, an authentic country Pub in Norfolk, it has a gourgess interior full of Twentieth Century antique enamel signs and antique Bric a Brac....reasonable drinks and food prices for such a nice venue. They also have Peacocks, beautiful, but vicious buggers, no, seriously, they are amazing creatures , you can't go wrong here, enjoy!

I have recently read some negative reviews of the Hare Arms and I can only think that these reviews were posted by either people at another pub who thought they were at The Hare Arms ie. couldn’t read the pub sign, or other publicans who are jealous of the success of Pat and Debbie and their team.

Whatever, we love the Hare Arms, not just for the food which is always excellent, but the ambiance of the pub and the staff who always make you feel welcome with a smile as soon as you walk through the the door.

The Hare Arms? Probably the best pub in East Anglia if not the UK.

User

Had an absolutely beautiful meal this evening, probably the best fillet steak I have ever had. Good swift service and all at a good price. Highly recommended.

User

First visit to thr hare arms this evening. Was wonderful. Food was amazing, staff were very attentive. Ambience was a delight. Reasonably priced.100 per cent be back again.

Went in for a drink with a friend. Didn't feel very welcome, felt like the bar staff didn't want to be there. On ordering a snack (bowl of chips) only to be rudely told a side could only be ordered with a main dish, so ordered a starter instead, we ordered food and coffee's at the same time, the food came before the coffee's which makes you wonder how fresh the food is. It's been done out nice but unfortunately due to these random rules and glum faces behind the bar, doubt I'll be back anytime soon.

My partner and I with our little girl went here on Sunday night 25th November, we sat in the new part that use to be the chilly conservatory, lovely, but there were a group of women sitting in the bar area that were really loud (1 of them very loud and quite drunk) apparently they work there, any way the food was not great I had 8 onions in my beef pie and not much beef at all, my partner had chicken Cesar salad that was edible but not good the worst £50 spent! Lesson learnt! We would rather do Landymores tea rooms for lunch 3 times a week!
